- asami21, on 11/15/2009, -26/+132~ "Gore's Favorite Green Product? Your money in his pocket," said another sign. ~
- thinkb4utype, on 11/15/2009, -33/+109The consensus is that Gore is an *****. Deniers say he isn't, but the debate is over.
- 45superman, on 11/15/2009, -22/+79I might be able to believe "president of the planet" is an appropriate title for Gore.
Did anyone mention WHICH planet--and shouldn't he, as president, be getting back there soon? - somberlaine, on 11/15/2009, -20/+72manbearpig
- shnizep, on 11/16/2009, -21/+60Al Gore is a piece of *****, he could give a fook less about the planet. His house in TN. consumes more energy in a month than 20 average US homes. Lead by example *****...
- getjustin, on 11/16/2009, -21/+54I don't care what you feeling are on global warming, this man is manipulating fears and public opinion so that he can basically run the stock market for cap and trade. He's a hypocrite and he's super serial.
- akhomestead, on 11/16/2009, -20/+52I love green people. My friend who preaches global warming drives a suburban, and her husband drives a v-8 truck.
- MercenarySlick, on 11/16/2009, -7/+35Remember the story which compared the carbon footprint of Al Gore's house compared to Bush's ranch?
http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/house.asp
Bush may not have signed the Kyoto Protocol but he certainly does lead by example when it comes to green living. Gotta love the irony. - KevinRowz, on 11/16/2009, -8/+32It is chilling how accurately Futurama predicts things sometimes.
- professor357, on 11/16/2009, -21/+44Just to go down memory lane for a brief visit....
Back when Al was VP, and Pres. Clinton had him evaluating the countries' energy policy, Al advocated gasoline prices of $4 a gallon. Of course, that was to occur with the government getting the extra money [retail price of gas at the time was about a buck], and using it for our 'energy independence'.
So the only thing wrong with $4 a gallon gas, in Al's mind, is that somebody OTHER THAN the government is getting all that money.
And that 'somebody' is usually a foreign country, because Al and his buddies in the Democrat party are still adamant that we can't use our domestic resources of gas, oil, and coal to produce the energy that we need. Which means we have to continue buying it from people who have our best interests in mind, like the Saudis, and Venezuela, and Mexico. /s - TexasKoz, on 11/16/2009, -10/+32It's not about them. It's about what everyone else should do.
- austroLogi, on 11/16/2009, -11/+32rather ban environmental nut jobs pretending to be scientist
- GeorgeFord, on 11/15/2009, -20/+36He's serial.
- BillE3, on 11/15/2009, -28/+43He had to find some way to give them a little slap in the face for not supporting his presidential bid. Besides what better tool for the press to get our minds off the idea that Obama is trying to become president of the world.
- Masomlejn, on 11/16/2009, -7/+21Surely you're not trying to suggest that Gore isn't an *****...
- Jonjonr6, on 11/16/2009, -5/+18Captain Planet!
- ParaSwarm, on 11/16/2009, -5/+17Really? How's he trying to do that?
- palehorse864, on 11/16/2009, -3/+15The last green person I talked to was a really tall guy who tried to sell me canned vegetables. He seemed pretty jolly at least, laughed sort of like Santa Clause.
- BigLou, on 11/16/2009, -6/+18I thought Nixon was Earth's president...
- BorsKaegel, on 11/16/2009, -6/+17"As I discuss in my book Earth in the Balance, and the more popular Harry Potter and the Balance of the Earth, we need to protect ourselves against the greenhouse effect and dark wizards."
- doctordbx, on 11/16/2009, -12/+23Al Gore is sure gonna make a lot of money off carbon credit trading, he probably will be president of the Earth very shortly.
- shnizep, on 11/16/2009, -9/+20I'm super cereal you guys!
- grady, on 11/16/2009, -3/+11I enjoy how Snopes just can't quite take the truth in the comparison of these two homes.
For Gore, they link to an internal article that makes all kinds of excuses for why the Gore house sucks up energy, nuke, hydro or otherwise.
For the Bush house, they link to a parody site (but at least they do identify it as fiction). - smack1700, on 11/16/2009, -8/+16Actually, he's super serial.
- ramfire98, on 11/16/2009, -3/+10Excelsior!
- MBomber50, on 11/16/2009, -1/+7Yeah, ***** these guys! There is no room for arguments, disagreements, or diversity at my Digg.com! This needs to be a website strictly for reaffirming my person beliefs!!!
- jerrdalton, on 11/16/2009, -1/+7I practically hate Al Gore. He is the worst snake-oil salesman in human history. He doesn't even believe the BS that comes out of his mouth.
That's all. - darkened, on 11/16/2009, -14/+20Why do people still care what this con artist has to say? How many millions of dollars has he made off his global scare over the Earth's natural cooling and heating cycles?
- johndi, on 11/16/2009, -3/+9As long as you can pay for carbon indulgences your gluttony will be absolved.
- zantos420, on 11/16/2009, -2/+8i love v8, throw a little tabasco in there, mmm
- nomarxist, on 11/16/2009, -3/+8Has anyone checked how much methane this guy emits when he speaks?
Al must be proud of the 71 car motorcade Obama had in Japan! No taxpayer expense is too great for the big BO! - SchmuckofNI, on 11/16/2009, -1/+6What people still listen to this guy? Lame.
- yaosio, on 11/16/2009, -1/+6I also support giving money to random companies for "carbon credits". I am selling carbon credits for the price of $1000 each.
- Thuban, on 11/16/2009, -1/+5Is this the same Al Gore who arranged the sale of Elk Hills Naval oil Reserve to Occidental petroleum to which he had a significant stake in?

President of the planet? God people are stupid. - howdareyou, on 11/16/2009, -2/+6It's the filthy rich telling the middle class to live like the poor.
- freshyill, on 11/16/2009, -1/+5Area Man Passionate Defender Of What He Imagines Constitution To Be http://www.theonion.com/content/news/area_man_pass ...
- 45superman, on 11/16/2009, -3/+6There's definitely some serious warming going on in those places.
- MikeFromAmerica, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3Don't blame me. I voted for the Head of Richard Nixon.
- PotbellyJoe, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3My first thought was how can that be when he is the first emperor of the moon.
- bettverboten, on 11/15/2009, -15/+18ROFLing great comment!
- smashTasker, on 11/16/2009, -6/+9Stormfront must be down for maintenance.
- rthakidn, on 11/16/2009, -1/+4Only in Floriduh!
- Kaiosama, on 11/16/2009, -15/+18And conservative heads all across the globe exploded in unison...
- Mujokan, on 11/16/2009, -8/+11Erm, surely you all know he's Emperor of the Moon. Though I would have preferred he was just President 2000 - 2008.
- rberk72, on 11/16/2009, -2/+5Actually, it was the American people. He lost Florida, the most recounted state ever, in every recount. Almost 10 years later, it's clear he still can't admit reality.
- mollydog12, on 11/16/2009, -30/+32gore gets out there and makes a buck the old fashioned way, he lies and betrays his position and the public trust, and the nut jobs make him out to be a bad guy.
the real issue here is what is obama going to do now that al is president of the planet. he could go back to community organizing but after the bang up job he did in chicago, and with acorn on the ropes, it might not go too well. michelle might have to get that law license back because it could be awhile for barry between jobs what with the economy the way it is. - Demalaxy, on 11/16/2009, -3/+5With your suckups combined, Gore is Captain Planet!
- CrunchyDeluxe, on 11/16/2009, -0/+2He has his followers. It's like the blind leading the stupid.
- CrunchyDeluxe, on 11/16/2009, -1/+3After eight years of childish anti-Bush, anti-Cheney, and anti-Rice comments, you expect your whining to get noticed? Are we all supposed to fall in line with the left-wingers now that they're in power?
Kindly ***** off, you arrogant prick. - defendliberty, on 11/16/2009, -2/+4Wow, someone thinking for themselves, and Digg reacts as usual.
