Gore Draws ‘Rapturous’ Ovation at U.N. Climate Meeting
thinkprogress.org — At the 190-nation talks on global warming in Bali yesterday, former vice president Al Gore drew “rapturous applause and cheers” when he criticized the Bush administration for opposing mandatory limits on greenhouse gas emissions: “My own country the United States is principally responsible for obstructing progress in Bali. I guess Bush doesn't consider it something as urgently needing leadership when it doesn't involve bombing, a big, big sign, and oil money.
Anyone else get concerned when people without any scientific background seem to keep selling the same talking point, "We don't have enough science on the subject." ?
