Google spammed again - billions of new pages since 10th August

uksmallbusinessdirectory.c… — Looks like the spammers are one step ahead of Google again. This time it is typos and spellings. Search for something like mobile phonew and you find lots of .be registered domains in a blog format, on closer inspection there are thousands of these all with around 64,000 spam pages. If they all get indexed we are talking billions of pages.

  • sim64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Even if they were paying a dollar a time for the hosting and had 20000 sites that would only be $20,000 in hosting. When all 20,000 of those sites get 64,000 pages indexed that is 1,280,000,000 pages in googles index.
    Makes that initial $20,000 look like small change.
