- estvir, on 04/09/2008, -0/+4Google, April Fools has passed.
- sjl127, on 04/09/2008, -0/+3Google's a government proxy. Tin foil hat - ON.
- geddon, on 04/09/2008, -0/+3Grammar Nazi? The man barely used two words correctly in his sentence..
- Khael, on 04/09/2008, -4/+6Seriously, the power that Google has scare the crap out of me.
Google, please don't tell my girlfriend where I keep my magazine collection! - nadavs2, on 04/09/2008, -1/+3The have too much power. And they're also too bored.
- tattertech, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2Luckily, bad guys looking for people they want to kill don't use google.
- craighoxton, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2This reassures UK Daily Mail readers that refugees aren't moving in next door and hitting property prices
- Arancaytar, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2It was sarcasm.
- madwaxer, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1damn, i'd like to use it to tag and follow the murderers in the Darfur region. all they need to do is add live streaming to google earth and Big Bro-Earth is functional!... with a few drones of course.
- praneym, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1World population is fast moving into the refugee camps, they obviously see a large market potential there.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that maybe they don't want people to know where they are. "They" being the governments of countrys they entered illegally or the machete wielding madmen and juntas that chased them away in the first place.
- sustydev, on 06/12/2009, -0/+1Interesting - staying informed about refugee movements. Surely would be useful to many nonprofits & other organizations.
- RainDodger, on 04/09/2008, -1/+2I think this will be great in places like Darfur. Can't hide how people are being driven out.
- bosssmiley, on 04/09/2008, -2/+3Great. Now if they'd only add an "illegal immigrants" option...
- bas4ball, on 04/10/2008, -0/+1Good song
- pizzatsf, on 04/09/2008, -3/+4on their hands.
- GeekyGerge, on 04/09/2008, -1/+2Totally. I was heavily embarrassed when my mom found my PC gamer stash.

"Palestinian militants are using Google Earth to help plan their attacks on the Israeli military and other targets, the Guardian has learned" - umbriago, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1Maybe they can use it to track people whose mortgages have foreclosed.
- redxxx, on 04/09/2008, -0/+110% too much time.
- snoop101, on 04/10/2008, -0/+1Sure but when i say it i get dugged down
- alexandramw, on 04/09/2008, -1/+1I think this is a good idea! That way, people can track down each other, such as family and friends, if a war zone or natural disaster occurs and they get separated. One thing though is that it should go beyond the UN and be prepped for natural disasters in the US when a Katrina-esque catastrophe happens again.. or for Thailand and Indonesia, especially since Indonesia has been hit with many disasters.
- Aanr, on 04/09/2008, -2/+1Whew! Thank god for hte grammar nazi!
- Abbeygargoyle, on 04/09/2008, -4/+1Warm yourself by the fire, son/And the morning will come soon.
I’ll tell you stories of a better time/In a place that we once knew.
Before we packed our bags/And left all this behind us in the dust,
We had a place that we could call home,/And a life no one could touch.
Don’t hold me up now,/I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You won't let me down, down, down!
Don’t hold me up now,/I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You will let me down, down, down!
Down!
We are the angry and the desperate,/The hungry, and the cold,
We are the ones who kept quiet,/And always did what we were told.
But we’ve been sweating while you slept so calm,/In the safety of your home.
We’ve been pulling out the nails that hold up/Everything you’ve known.
Don’t hold me up now,/ I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You will let me down, down, down!
Don’t hold me up now,/I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You will let me down, down, down!
So open your eyes child,/Let’s be on our way.
Broken windows and ashes/Are guiding the way.
Keep quiet no longer,/We’ll sing through the day,
Of the lives that we’ve lost,/And the lives we’ve reclaimed.
Go!
Don’t hold me up now,/I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You will let me down, down, down!
Don’t hold me up now,/I can stand my own ground,
I don’t need your help now,/You will let me down, down, down!
Don’t hold me up…/(I don’t need your help, I’ll stand my ground)
Don’t hold me up…/(I don’t need your help)
No! No! No!/Don’t hold me up!
(I don’t need your help, I’ll stand my ground)/Don’t hold me up!
(I don’t need your help, I’ll stand my ground)/Don’t hold me down, down, down, down, down! - snoop101, on 04/09/2008, -7/+3Wow google has way to much time on there hands.
