- unfinite, on 04/09/2008, -0/+7The blue lines are Singapore, not Indonesia. It's a really good place for corporations I believe, really good taxes. I think the whole country is only about the size of Toronto though, but with twice the population.

- Zera, on 04/09/2008, -0/+3No, it's just a JPG. If you have a really small monitor, then it will expand to full size, but its still not readable.

Not the graphic, but some related text. - Tyrghast, on 04/09/2008, -2/+1So china, the UAE, Singapore and Kuwait have a lot of money invested in the US... nice...
- RobotLeAwesome, on 04/09/2008, -2/+4I for one welcome out Singaporean overlords.
- bernoulliv2, on 04/09/2008, -1/+1This isn't necesarrily a bad thing, assuming the United States can regulate rights and roles international sovereign wealth funds competently. Of Course, there's 25% chance or less that that will be the case w/ the current leadership(s).
- yessuz, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2ammmm..
So it's like - US have been Owned? - craighoxton, on 04/09/2008, -1/+4Whose afraid of the Sovereign Wealth Fund? You should be, as they've used the sub prime credit crunch to take a big bite into Western financial institutions, who've welcomed them like a corner hooker welcomes a $20 john. Note the big investment banks looking to SWFs for advisory fees as - thanks to the credit crunch they helped create - M&A deals dry up as nobody wants to part with any money.
This is a gratuitous mention of Ron Paul for no reason whatsoever. - dupswapdrop, on 04/09/2008, -0/+3You don't really want to know who sold your butt to the worlds biggest crooks now do you?
- wynja, on 04/09/2008, -0/+3Here's the gig. We sell them all these companies that are full of bad debt via SIV and the like. We take their oil and goods in exchange and laugh as their investments go up in smoke. We did the same thing to the Japanese in the 80s.
- morningmatters, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1It looks like Singapore invested at least $40Billion in foreign companies in the last 3 years. I am looking forward to visit there for a business trip next week.
- VinnieDaMac, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1What am i suppose to get from this chart?
- MrQ1989, on 04/09/2008, -0/+0woah, back the ***** up people. TEMASEK HOLDINGS BELONG TO SINGAPORE. and goverment of singapore, BELONGS TO SINGAPORE too. meaning what? we put too much money into *****?
- cannabrain, on 04/10/2008, -0/+1My eyes are bleeding
