- olbroad, on 08/06/2008, -3/+16As a former homeschooler, I find this kind of abuse, not only disconcerting, but downright frightening.
- rjwusa, on 08/06/2008, -3/+15This, from a country that received Obama like a rock star. I guess the Nazi mentality is alive and well in Germany.
- baramunchies, on 08/06/2008, -4/+3at least we stopped our plans to rule the world 50 years ago, don't know about your country.
- KJeffV, on 08/06/2008, -1/+4I dunno: Sounds like someone's abridging someone else's freedom to me, but Hey! What do I know? The most ironic aspect of this whole rotation is the very idea that Germany officially eschews home-schooling in order to AVOID a Nazi Party-like return!

- rjwusa, on 08/06/2008, -2/+4Not meaning disrespect to the fine German people of today, but the Allied forces stopped the German plans of world domination.
- baramunchies, on 08/06/2008, -4/+3at least we stopped our plans to rule the world 50 years ago, don't know about your country.

These people must not care what Jesus said, but rest assured, THEY WILL CARE!- baramunchies, on 08/06/2008, -2/+3yeah, whole germany made this decission.
yesterday night they called me up to ask about my decission like all the other 85 million germans.- KJeffV, on 08/06/2008, -1/+3And, your answer was . . . ?

That sounds remarkably like what the neighbors of the death camps said before they were forced to take a tour of what their silence allowed.
In the famous words of Sargeant Schultz, "I see nothhhhhh ing."
- baramunchies, on 08/06/2008, -2/+3yeah, whole germany made this decission.
- prompel, on 08/06/2008, -1/+2It is very important that the children are properly indoctrinated.
- XNihil0Zer0, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1I think it is unreasonable to outlaw homeschooling completely. However, I feel that before being allowed to homeschool their children parents should be required to pass a test demonstrating their knowledge in the subjects they wish to teach. This includes biology, which for some strange reason is the least favorite subject of most homeschooling parents.
