Georgia ‘overrun’ by Russian troops

infiniteunknown.net — Georgian officials tonight claimed the country had been ‘overrun’ by Russian troops after a full-scale ground invasion. Amid reports that Moscow forces had taken the town of Gori - and were marching on the capital Tsblisi - Georgian soldiers appeared to be in full retreat. Troops were apparently in complete chaos....

I know most of them hold Russian passports, but you sound as if Georgia invaded Russian territory. Let's leave the spin-doctoring to the official media.

Something more is going on and if we, the US, go to war with Russia then that would be the biggest mistake ever. But the good news is that the corporations will profit big time off of such a war. We all know they are broke and need the money, even if it means half the world or more is destroyed in the process.

Bush is only interested in attacking third world nations that are already on the brink of economic collapse. Nope Bush will just give a few speeches, make faces at the camera, and then privately chuckle to Putin on the private line...
  • Kizilbash, on 08/12/2008, -0/+1The Russians have given the Georgians a good slap and seem to be leaving it at that. Don't expect the Georgian government to survive this in the long run though. This is a fiasco of epic proportions for them.
