He's a little too young, a little too emotional and a little too cocky for my taste. Ir's fairly apparent now that the facts are out that Georgia did start shooting first and Russia finished it in a big way and maybe was a little heavy handed...but to just paint this as a black and white...Georgia is good and Russia is the bad guy...it's just not accurate. These two territories, south Ossetia and Akhbistia have not been governed by Georgia in 17 years, ever since they fought and won their autonomy in 1991...and now Georgia started to forcefully crack down because they have to as a prerequisite to join NATO. Russia responded because for all intensive purposes Geogia has not governed these two regions in almost 20 years and the people there identify more with Moscow than they do Georgia. Georgia could have gone about this differently and should have done it by peaceful means. I'd choose our relationship with Russia as more important than Georgia in my book. Russia needs to pull back to their territory now and let international peacekeepers in...but I personally feel no illwill towards them and I think a LOT of americans agree.
