- jdorough, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2It's been around $3.92 here in Orlando but actually dropped down a few cents to $3.89 at a couple of nearby stations.
- virginian9000, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2Its been between 3.81 and 3.99 around hear for a couple of weeks.
What's bad is all it takes is some turmoil in the world somewhere, and prices will go up. - alapoet, on 06/23/2008, -0/+4Was out yesterday and saw REGULAR at $4.57!
(Washington state) - davidhallstrom, on 06/23/2008, -0/+4I would love to see gas at $4.10 here in California.
- jmengland, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2I noticed gas dropping by a penny or two here in Denver. $3.92 this morning.
- dougvfr750, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2We haven't seen anything below 4 bucks out here in CA for a while now :(
- phreak79, on 06/24/2008, -0/+2Think yourself lucky, it's over $10 per gallon here in Britain. Imagine Bush taking 75% of that in tax and you're about there.
- FREETHINKER2008, on 06/24/2008, -0/+1Do those taxes go toward healthcare or other things?
- phreak79, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1You'd think they'd go towards public transport and other environmental issues being as they are essentially a green tax, but yes they get harvested off to other areas of government, hence many now suspect the tax of being a good form of revenue generation with no moral imperetive behind it.
I cycle everywhere so it doesn't effect me financially, but philisophically I think it stinks.

- fcukObama, on 06/24/2008, -0/+0Wow, can't there be an article about anything without mentioning or degrading Bush or McCain? You're so worried about taxes, something tells me if Obama gets voted into office taxes are going to go anywhere but down.

- Panzwhore, on 06/24/2008, -0/+3I payed 4.35 the other day (oregon)
Its getting ***** ridiculous - bluebovine, on 06/24/2008, -0/+3It's $4.89 in LA right now. Just got a bike. i hate bikes.

http://yellowcakewalk.net/2008-06-21/thumb_reading ... - a3sax, on 06/24/2008, -0/+2i can't believe that in less than 10 years of driving for the first time, gas is 600% higher in price. gas in Illinois when i had my first car was $0.80 at its lowest. now in LA, it is almost $5.00!
- samoan27, on 06/24/2008, -0/+1See here's the thing about a peak; IT DROPS OFF ON THE OTHER SIDE. Quit calling it peak oil when tomorrow it'll just be higher.
- amishnet, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Back up here, they're NOT coming down to stay. Its an excuse to give good PR to the candidates momentarily.
