From China With Love: The Chinese Adoption Effect
vanityfair.com — Since 1991, American families have adopted more than 60,000 Chinese babies, almost all of them girls. - frstblood, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1To each his own, but there really are hundreds of children here in the USA that need homes, I should know I have two that are now my children. Not all may match your own ethnicity, but in all likelihood the Chinese baby won't either. It is a sad fact that there are many many more African American children that need homes than children of other races in the U.S. Many Americans still need to get over their own biases and prejudices and if adoption is right for them open their homes to ALL children. (OK I'll step down from my soapbox)
