Former Weapons Inspector says Syria didn't violate NNPT
democracynow.org — IF the images are accurate, it appears that Syria was producing a very, very small research reactor. But it is not a reactor usable in a nuclear weapons program. Syria was not violating the law. A simple referral to the International Atomic Energy Agency would have produced special inspections that would have resolved the matter peacefully.

- yellowcakewalk, on 04/29/2008, -4/+22Why won't Israel sign the NNPT? Oh yeah, because they like to sell stolen USA nuclear secrets on the open market to the highest bidder.

- caferrell, on 04/29/2008, -3/+19This has become an Orwellian nightmare and it does not appear that there is any powerful movement afoot to stop it. There are some valiant ones among us that are actually doing something, in particular the attractive smoking skull that posted the first comment on this thread, but mostly we spend hours finding articles and information to share with each other.
How can this furious, screeching race to the cliff be stopped before we fall into the void of totalitarianism? Is there any way that we can stop the seemingly inevitable march towards more war?- Antarcticn, on 04/29/2008, -1/+8Tell everyone you know. Help them see they're racing off the cliff. See if they like that future. See if they like their children and relatives being sacrificed (killed) for blood-money profiteers.
By the way, caferrell, months ago you and I strongly differed about torturing so-called "terrorists". You were right. I was wrong.
Since then, I studied who are torturers, who backs them, what are their methods (waterboarding is the least of it), who are their victims, what are their present & future objectives. Based on my findings, you may disagree with my conclusion, but the federal-mafia, criminal godvernment is the most dangerous terrorist force. Today is such an Orwellian nightmare that it's already "1984" which is mild by comparison to tomorrow. Orwell's Big Brother would envy today's & tomorrow's federal-mafia thugs.
As for your next digg, embedded below, if we don't stop them dead in their tracks now/ASAP, it's the end for us. That's not fatalistic. Just fact.- caferrell, on 04/29/2008, -1/+3I'm with you brother
- billyjack1958, on 04/30/2008, -1/+2I agree with both of you and that's why I am voting for Ron Paul. I see our only hope as being within his message. The top 3 media darling candidates are the epitome of status quo and the corporate media has been effectively dumbing down the masses since 1917....it's a tough battle.

- macsen, on 04/29/2008, -3/+16How about we comply with the NPT before bombing others because they don't.
- caferrell, on 04/29/2008, -3/+11And how are we going to get the criminals in Washington to do that?
- Antarcticn, on 04/29/2008, -1/+5Only by organizing as well as the criminals are organized. We The Victimized People need a precision-synchronized, well-coordinated event to purge the system. If vote counting is truly honest (it isn't, it's rigged — criminal nationwide election fraud) then the '08 election could be such an event.
- billyjack1958, on 04/30/2008, -1/+3We need to get Diebold and 99% of the incumbents OUT of the picture. 37 states passed term limits legislation by a margin of 2:1 and then it was overridden in Washington.

- 2trkpony, on 04/30/2008, -1/+8The US government neocon cabal doesn't want "peace" in the middle east any more than the pope wants to ***** naked in the street every Sunday. Or the pharmaceutical industry wants a cure for cancer. Peace would de-rail the PNAC global war agenda completely, rendering massive trillion dollar profits for defense contractors, the military industrial complex & Halliburton/KBR null & void. If you think 'they' are going to willfully allow that, I've got a real nice bridge to sell you..
