wnd.com — Italy is fighting a rapidly increasing Muslim presence by introducing a bill to block construction of Islamic mosques and prohibit minarets, or prayer watchtowers, and loudspeaker chants.

    Answer: they should not.

        Islam is a political system masquerading as a religion.
        It is inimical to our way of life. The purpose of Islam is world conquest by force. Western countries would be much better off if they did not allow Muslims to emigrate.

        Italy is a little bit ahead of the curve if they're even discussing limiting additional mosques.

        Before you say it, yes I am prejudiced against Islam. So?
        It's perfectly acceptable to discriminate against people because of what they believe in.

        I'd just hope that here in the US, we can rise beyond the theocratic thuggery of Saudi Arabia, and find a way to be a nation of many faiths (an, of course, no faith).

        And are you implying that there is ANY similarity between the way our varied faiths interact here and the stinking Sauds?
