Film shows McCain's release from Vietnamese prison
apnews.myway.com — Unseen footage emerges showing presidential candidate McCain as a proud, stoic prisoner of war in Hanoi on the day his Vietnamese captors released him to the U.S. -Just a reminder to the digg leftists; -this is not film of your hero democrat/commie Hanoi Jane, a supporter of Obama(no military experience either), but a true military hero & patriot.

God Bless America! - vexingmodstwo, on 09/12/2008, -3/+7I was watching the forum tonight and I couldn't help but notice the stark difference between McCain and Obama.
When McCain talks about America, you can see the love of country in his eyes. It is almost as if he wells up a little.
Obama, on the other hand, only gets that look in his eye when he talks about his socialist programs. Anyone else notice this?- mactographer, on 09/12/2008, -1/+5What made me sick about Obama was his trite pontifications about what we should have done after 9-11 rather than go "shopping" as GWB suggested.
It's easy to look back 7 years later after the dust has settled and say we should have done this or that. But it's another thing to help a nation that was afraid of more attacks to get back on it's feet IN THE MIDDLE of the crisis.
GWB wanted us to get back to normal, shop, eat, work, trade stock, go to work, etc... rather than let the terrorists win by destroying our economy. We all knew that at the time too.
But when Obama gets up on his high horse and say we should have mobilized more and taken more pride in our country, blah, blah, blah, he's just showing us the empty suit ... and empty head ... he really is.- rjwusa, on 09/12/2008, -3/+4"....But when Obama gets up on his high horse and say we should have mobilized more and taken more pride in our country, blah, blah, blah, he's just showing us the empty suit ..."
Taken more pride? I had never seen so much patriotism and love for country diplayed by the American people before 9/11. The days, weeks and months that followed showed a country that was united. Obama is out of touch and hasn't a clue of patriotism and pride. The man doesn't salute the flag. He's an idiot! - Nannybell, on 09/12/2008, -2/+2Speaking of flags, I remember there were American flags everywhere. Seems like every car had a flag on it.
I just have this deep feeling that Obama has too many roots in another land, too many globalist ideas, and too many other ideas we perhaps know nothing about. He made the statement that the Muslim call to prayer in the evening is one of the sweetest sounds he knows, and he recited it. See, I think he perhaps does not fully understand even himself how deep his roots go elsewhere, in another land, another way of being that just isn't the American way of being. We aren't globalists wanting to unite the world into one big hodgepodge. No thanks. He can run the U.N. if he wants. I'm ok with that. And maybe he could convince them to leave New York and set up shop in Europe or somewhere.

God Bless Obama!
God Bless America!- Nannybell, on 09/12/2008, -3/+1Well, yes, we would want God to bless Obama, because that would mean he was obeying God. So that would be off in some future day perhaps, maybe, if he changes some things to be more in line with God. However, let's not bless him with the Presidency if you don't mind.
- USNavyBlue, on 09/14/2008, -0/+2I am sorry but I can't digg this up. The only thing I can say is I view McCain as no war hero for several reasons. Make no mistake I am no Obama fan either. Both candidates scare the hell out of me.
Before anyone decides to blast me for saying my views on McCain being no hero, I think one should research what Vets really think of him and how McCain has really voted towards our (my) Vets in the past as well as recent. A good factual website to start is: www.VietnamVeteransAgainstJohnMcCain.com
Respectfully a Vet myself
