Fake bills at strip club lead to arrests

azcentral.com — SCOTTSDALE - Police say they uncovered nearly $6,000 in counterfeit money after a Gilbert man passed phony bills at a Scottsdale strip club. Police accuse James Johnson, 25, of Gilbert of paying his Skin Cabaret bill Friday night with $500 in counterfeit money. Police later arrested Shannon Daugherty, 38, after searching his Phoenix home.
