FEMA Employee Like All Bureaucrats Thinks He's Above The Law
worldnetdaily.com — A FEMA inspector nearly drove over a pedestrian, and ended up with witnesses surrounding his car to prevent the inspector from escaping before authorities arrived. He said; "He didn't have to slow down, he was with FEMA." At one point he got into his car and tried to nudge through the crowd, nearly running down the pedestrian a second time.

- nippinawassee, on 06/29/2008, -1/+21Maybe he's having flashbacks to New Orleans and Katrina! Perhaps he was expecting snipers to be shooting at him... amazing how differently the population behaves in emergencies in other parts of the country - haven't heard one mention of looting going on in Iowa whereas in New Orleans... oh I forgot - people who don't have tennis shoes are honor bound to steal carts full of tennis shoes, right? And where did all the FEMA money go in N.Orleans? Still no answer on the billiions that were poured into that state to FIX things...
- Rikety, on 06/30/2008, -0/+8Get this arrogant a-hole out of the federal system. He should be forced to pay restitution to everyone who had to witness or act in preventing his escape.
A Jerk to the nth degree. - CARHINO, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3We know some of the money will be used in Denver to entertain socialists at the DNC.

- VinBea, on 06/29/2008, -2/+16Isn't FEMA and extension of the federal government out of DC?
Might explain a lot as well if we're able to figure this out...
Might also explain why many of our political elites (up there where the Bushes and Clintons of our nation live) are prepared to vacate the nation for when the poop hits the fan............- FEMAInspector, on 07/03/2008, -0/+0Unfortunately for all disaster victims FEMA contracts out to Parsons Brinkerhoff to supply FEMA housing Inspectors. - isparadiselost, on 06/29/2008, -2/+13Let's see here, golf club vs. .45ACP. Drum roll.........and the winner is? .45ACP every time.
Just the look on someone's face when they see a fully outfitted .45 with laser sight tends to "calm" them down. I don't give a good goddamn if it's FEMA or any other unConstitutional 'agency'. Hell, I keep clips stocked with different ammo types depending on if I think they're wearing body armor or not. I know my body armor is great against HP rounds but not so great agains FMJ rounds. I'm guessing theirs is the same so always keep a 13 round clip of FMJs just in case. SP rounds can go either way so keep a clip of that handy as well.
Once we stop tyranny in our backyards, it'll start working it's way to the top that we're sick of this *****. If they plan on coming at us harder? That's when the AR comes out with AP rounds. Punches through body armor like it isn't even there.
Fear of the government (our employees) needs to cease!- Jeff82, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2(OT) You're wasting your time by selecting HP vs JHP for body armor. In most cases neither will work and you're only slowing yourself down by trying to change mags to get the "right" ammo. Use which ever functions best in your gun. It's got more to do with velocity (which you'll never get enough of in .45ACP) than bullet style unless you're using AP rounds.
AR will shoot through soft BA with plain jane FMJ. Still no need for AP. Hard armor (ESAPI) will defeat .30-'06 AP at very close ranges so your AR (5.56 or 7.62 NATOs) will still fail. - phybere, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1When I see you on the street, remind me not to ***** with you. You sound like a heavily armed psychopath.

- retdep110, on 06/29/2008, -4/+7Didn't FEMA get combined with the Dept. of Homeland Security which is headed by Michael Chertoff who was apponted by George W. Bush? They say an organization is only as good as it's leaders. The FEMA guy guy would have been wearing his golf club in a place where the sun don't shine if I'd been the one he was chasing.
- ginger007, on 06/30/2008, -3/+6always looking for a way to hit Bush, is that your goal? get yu a golf club and go to the white house and quit taking up post space

- fwelch, on 06/30/2008, -0/+15A FEMA inspector, angered at a pedestrian who got in his way, allegedly took out a golf club, chased the pedestrian down and bashed him across the arm, breaking the club in the process.
Another dangerous smart ass, ***** that needs to be taken out of the gene pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Taquoshi, on 06/30/2008, -1/+15It was great that the other bystanders got involved and prevented the man from leaving. Hopefully everything will be done exactly right and Mr. I'm Above the Law & Can Assault You with My Golf Club will have a nice vacation in a State run institution. By the way, what was he doing with golf clubs in his car in a flood zone? Inquiring minds want to know.
- lookingforHim, on 06/30/2008, -0/+7Yes, a State run institution. In a Federal run one he would only learn how to use a golf club without breaking it.
- JaelsTentPeg, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3It is refreshing to see citizens get involved.
- DrReaper, on 06/30/2008, -0/+8Golf clubs are serious weapons in the wrong hands.
- Rikety, on 06/30/2008, -2/+4So is water.
- USNavyBlue, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3Damn - I guess the godverment will have to start putting restrictions on golf clubs now - just like guns because guns kill people. /sarcasm
- DrReaper, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1I don't think they should be regulated. I am pointing out they are a deadly weapon if a manic gets a hold of one.
- rjwusa, on 06/30/2008, -2/+17The 20th century's greatest president Ronaldus Maximus said the following in characterizing bureaucrats; "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"

- Barbrady, on 06/30/2008, -1/+10What a *****. They must not have any place to put put him in Cedar Rapids, (Linn County) so they had to ship his butt 20 miles east to Jones County. I guess this is what I get to look forward to when I move back in a little over a week.
- yaridanjo, on 06/30/2008, -6/+1The USA's economy in a crisis and baloney like this passes for headline NEWS on WND. Worry about this nut with a golf club instead of things like the following.

When will Americans begin to understand "you don' need no stinkin government help"? The price it too high. - Ruler4you, on 06/30/2008, -0/+5100% guarantee this guy walks away w/o so much as a 'by your leave' from enforcement. After all, he's with FEMA.

- zakman55, on 06/30/2008, -0/+6Another fine example of a government employee in action. Too bad he didn't get popped in the head with the club to knock some sense into him !!
- uptwolait, on 06/30/2008, -0/+6Wait...he's there to help, but has his golf clubs? I see where his priorities lie.
- JaelsTentPeg, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Perhaps we will see Fat Jack Murtha announcing press conference soon: "FEMA can't take the stress!"
- DuggDowner, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3Bush turned FEMA into the joke you see here.

Humility is in short supply. - phybere, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1What does this have to do with FEMA? When someone clubs another person with a golf club, the reasons and employer are irrelevant, they all go to the same prison.
- USNavyBlue, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2This has every to do with FEMA because the person doing the clubbing was on "government time" - he was there because of his job.
