FDA Says It Approved The Wrong Drug Plant

washingtonpost.com — The Chinese facility that supplies the active ingredient of the widely used blood thinner heparin was never inspected by the Food and Drug Administration because the agency confused its name with another just like it, agency officials said yesterday.

  • theNazz, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1The FDA... the same people who named a nerve damaging pesticide (Nicotine) a 'drug' so that it could be applied to more products... is not really looking out for my health and well being? By the way, how are those 'bug spray' patches and gums working out? I've recently quit smoking again and I need just a little something to take the 'edge' off...
