FBI Withholding 84 More Tapes of Pentagon on 9/11
http://www.infowars.net/articles/may2006/170506Pen ... - jsffive, on 10/02/2008, -16/+153You only have to hide the small secrets. The big ones are too incredulous to believe.
- JKap, on 10/02/2008, -10/+120I'm sure that it was in the interest of "national security" and so forth and to not interfere with ongoing efforts to prevent the "next" attack. You know, the standard Dick Cheney line.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/1991689.stm - DubYaSee, on 10/02/2008, -30/+139I think that there hasn't been general outrage by the American public for the Government's handling of the attack of 9/11 and the subsequent investigation, because it is just psychologically impossible to believe that elements of our Government could undertake such a heinous act against its people.
Once you examine the time line and become aware of physical impossibilities of 9/11, you are left with the unassailable conclusion that there had to have been cooperation from the highest levels of our Government for 9/11 to happen. - Dndlion, on 10/02/2008, -13/+88To paraphrase David Letterman, something doesn't smell right.
- iancgi, on 10/02/2008, -14/+86For the ignorant ones here talking bad about 9/11 truth you should realize the 9/11 truth movement was started by family members and first responders. Last month the truthers you all despise so much held a benefit show to raise money for the first responders who are sick and dying because they were lied to about the air quality on 9/11 and have now been abandoned by their government.
Articles like this one here just shows more complacency in the attacks on 9/11 by high level govt. officials. - Calcularius, on 10/02/2008, -12/+71We all know Condoleeza had documents sitting on her desk that said radical muslim extremists were planning on hijacking and flying planes into American buildings, yet nothing was done.
- snobrder218, on 10/02/2008, -10/+62It's nothing new that the government could have prevented things like this. What about Pearl Harbor? We had tons of information that Japan was going to attack, did we do anything? Of course not.
- batshitcrazy, on 10/02/2008, -5/+48and now that it's hit the main page, the general tone and opinion of the comments will change
- Brallit, on 10/02/2008, -1/+42I believe the quote was:
“Only the small secrets need to be protected. The big ones are kept secret by public incredulity.”
-Marshall McCluhan. - odigity, on 10/02/2008, -12/+49Great video in defense of the movement:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-730738627 ...
Before you criticize truthers, watch that video. - odigity, on 10/02/2008, -4/+39You're right. The government never, ever lies. And all the truther evidence? Bah. I can make it disappear by just ignoring it. La la la la la la la...
- Hangly, on 10/02/2008, -3/+32Of course not. Japan was our golden ticket into the war against Hitler.
- KMartSheriff, on 10/02/2008, -4/+30What's more infuriating is our mainstream media sources all pretend like it could never happen.
- rotundo, on 10/02/2008, -1/+27No. No no no. If there is new truth here to be discovered, it is critical that it comes out so that we can understand what we're truly up against. I've never bought into the 9/11 conspiracy (though I think there was some 9/11 incompetence), but if there is new evidence or inside accusations, I want to hear it.
In theory, it is _not_ beyond the government to do something like this. There have been more than one documented suggestion to stage or allow attacks on the US in the interest of justifying a war. That is fact. Whether 9/11 is such an incident is another matter, but it's not impossible. Unlikely, but not impossible.
I want to hear what these FBI agents have to say. - macinit1138, on 10/02/2008, -4/+29Sorry, your(government) credibility has been revoked. Anything you say now can only be interrupted as more lies and/or disinformation. You see, you have to EARN our(WE the people's) trust back by action not words. Sadly, we doubt this will be happening anytime soon.
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -1/+23nice blinders
- Hangly, on 10/02/2008, -1/+23True, but he wouldn't have if we hadn't declared war on Japan.
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -1/+22Yes..because we wouldn't want all those military secrets that we're stored on the lawn of the pentagon revealed to the public.
/s - pgoetz, on 10/02/2008, -0/+21Thank you for reminding us that we live in the United Stupid of America! Not only is your comment devoid of any and all factual information and/or logic, but you can't even seem to be coherent for 2 whole sentences.
- Nerys, on 10/02/2008, -6/+25If they NEEDED a second attack there would have been one. I do not think our government CAUSED 9.11 but I DO think they "let" it happen just like they LET pearl harbor happen.
They WANTED in on WWII letting pearl harbor happen pretty much assured US entry into WWII
Same here. They needed an excuse to conduct all these actions. A terrorist attack was just perfect and NO it has NOTHING to do with oil except oil is the "cover"
If you want to see WHY they needed a 9.11 just check out the federal register since 2001. You know the list of LAWS passed by our government.
Once you consider that its pretty clear what the objective was. - Archos, on 10/02/2008, -0/+19"The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate, contrived and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive and unrealistic" - John F. Kennedy
"The great masses of the people ... will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one. The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of a nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies, but would be ashamed to tell big lies." - Adolph Hitler
"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Hermann Goering
"We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. The financial system need more attention... right. - batshitcrazy, on 10/02/2008, -6/+24no, i mean people dropping in to sling insults and laugh at troofers, rather than presenting lucid arguments about a topic they care deeply about.
- odigity, on 10/02/2008, -13/+30***** ignorant conspiracy deniers. They infect every investigative effort.
There are adults here, trying to do real work. Go away, you damn cotton-hat wearing basement dwelling conspiracy denier. - Findeton, on 10/02/2008, -4/+21Not only Pearl Harbour. Also happened on the war against Spain to invade Spanish Cuba. The USA sinked a US passengers ship and blamed Spain for it, so they could start the invasion of Cuba.
- kemp34, on 10/02/2008, -4/+21Questions to rabid government apologists/those who attack people who ask questions and seek answers:
1. Did it ever cross your mind that there is the possibility that they may have known more than officially admitted?
2. If they did know more and did not do everything in their power to stop it, would you be upset?
3. What would it take for you to actually have questions?
4. Have you heard of the political concept of the "big lie"?
Carry on. - inactive, on 10/02/2008, -2/+18yeah and their luggage, which miraculously failed to make it onto the hijacked flights due to baggage handling issues, contained flight training manuals, korans and al-qaeda handbooks.
Why would someone planning to hijack a plane and slam it into a building bother to pack ANY luggage, let alone a convenient selection of incriminating materials?
The whole official story is a ***** joke, and the American people are the punchline. - jellygraph, on 10/02/2008, -3/+18This is not suspicious at all.... nooooooo
- Observant1, on 10/02/2008, -4/+18yep, it was just coincidence they were running drills that day and weeks before, with a scenario about planes being flown into buildings. want to buy some ocean front property in New Mexico?
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -2/+16True, these days it seems that almost any opposition to Bush or questioning of the neocon agenda gets you labeled as a conspiracy nutjob.
It's almost as if they have a paid team of disinfo shills out there, shouting down and ridiculing anyone that dares to deviate from the approved talking points and manufactured opinions.
Hell... even pointing out that the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a lie used to drum up support for the Vietnam war, gets you labeled as a conspiracy kook. Yet this is established historical fact. Most people are incapable of thinking for themselves... if its not on TV, it couldn't possibly be true. Sad :-( - Hangly, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14The FBI operates inside the US, and the CIA outside. That division is part of their charters.
- Hangly, on 10/02/2008, -5/+18Does “reputable” equate to “mainstream?” Because there are plenty of things the MSM won't pick up, and it isn't because they aren't true.
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -5/+18americans aren't bright people. their education system is extremely poor. in fact, people in 3rd world countries are far better educated than average americans. because of this, americans are extremely gullible and believe everything the government tells them, so when someone challenges the government's claims they all get offended like you just insulted their mother.
- scoottie, on 10/02/2008, -3/+16"YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" ... that movie will never die
- JCPahl, on 10/02/2008, -5/+18"Conspiracy theorist", as opposed to "coincidence theorist."
- Nerys, on 10/02/2008, -1/+14jerrycurley OK prove these statements wrong for me.
Insurance policies on the trade towers just before it happened. It never dawned on them at all since the last time it was attacked?
Massive illegal DELAY from "no comms" with airliners to anyone actually doing what they should have 35 minutes earlier in the FAA? Law says 10 minutes of no comms and you phone the word in. They waited 45 minutes.
Almost all our assets "moved" just the night before JUST away from DC and NYC ?
Those are all KNOWN FACTS. Go ahead and prove them wrong this has got to be good.
I am not a truther. I am not a wacko conspiracy nut. I am just a citizen who see's FAR to many "coincidences" and simply does not believe in coincidences like that.
DO I think they did it? hell no. That IS crazy talk. I just can not wrap my mind around the possibility that our government was directly involved. Thats just too much for me.
But I can easily wrap my mind around HEy guys. "something" is going to happen around here tommorrow. Were not sure what or how many or to what extent but "something" is going to happen and its likely going to involve airplanes.
Lets "help" this along or at least NOT make it easy to intervene if something DOES happen.
The result? the police state that we now virtually live in. have you READ some of the illegal unconstitutional laws they have passed since 9.11?
Have you SEEN how much money they are syphoning out of our government/economy?
These are smart people. DUMB people do NOT get into the positions these people hold and they are thinking LONG TERM. 10 move ahead as we try to grasp the last 5. - CarnivalOfDust, on 10/02/2008, -2/+14I have no idea of the source, but wasn't there an FBI security briefing published in 2000 specifically warning of the possible use of planes as missiles? It might have been standard FUD, but I read it somewhere.
Anyone have any idea? - h4ckler, on 10/02/2008, -2/+14Says the FBI and CIA. Common knowledge that reports were sitting on desks in both agencies.
It doesn't matter if it was an inside job. Americans are to numb. Clearly 9/11 wasn't the start of this attack on the American people and now we are seeing yet again more of a shake-up in our monetary system.
Mark my words the current happenings of this nation will strip the middle class and enslave them more than they are already. - Hangly, on 10/02/2008, -2/+14I prefer "miracle theorist" myself.

"our" and "are" are two different words!
THIS IS ARE COUNTRY - inactive, on 10/02/2008, -3/+14meh, all normal people pretty much accepted the fact that 9/11 was caused either intentionally or by negligence of the US government. the turds that are still in denial are those who are a threat to democracy because they accept everything government says as truth.
- JCPahl, on 10/02/2008, -1/+12It was pretty miraculous to have the hijacker's passports be found on the ground beside the WTC rubble. I think Jesus must have wanted us to know whodunnit.
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -0/+10@Smuikas - Yeah, no. They knew...and it was so bad that they left the fleet there FOR MONTHS while the japs were plotting and coming, with no air defenses on the island. THE ENTIRE FLEET.
And when the Admirals would complain, they just put a new one in place.
They literally JUST apologized to the Admirals this year for what happened...I beleive one of them was dishonorably discharged for speaking up about it, and they finally took it back.
Yeah...but Radar was a new concept. - blipblipbeep, on 10/02/2008, -0/+10Hay jerrycurley! Please read to yourself. "I am a dick."
Packet loss mode... Error!!!! - VitriolAndAngst, on 10/02/2008, -2/+12This is supported by the fact that the 9/11 hijackers got Visas from the CIA.
There is still an embassy in Saudi Arabia that hands out passports to known threats. Maybe they think they can find out more information this way. Or maybe they want more threats. - viker7, on 03/30/2009, -4/+14I do think the government had a hand in it- it's too big of an operation for the hijackers to carry out on their own.
Not to mention- how did the steel frame building collapse from fire (especially building 7)? It is the common view by demolition experts that the building must have been collapsed on purpose in order to fall like that- which would take LOTS of planning and planting of explosives. Also, why won't the FBI release any tapes of the plane hitting the pentagon?
...you get the point. If the government wanted it to happen, why would they not lend a hand to make sure it goes through smoothly. It is pretty naive to think that the government would not sacrifice innocent people for their greedy interests. -
