People in the basement were injured by explosions. I honestly don't know how to explain all that. Occam would probably say something about explosions.

- Dibou, on 07/25/2008, -3/+5If they wanted to bring down the buildings with explosives why go through the whole plane circus? Why not just bomb the buildings and say the terrorists used bombs? That way if there WERE bomb material found it would be because of bombs?
Some say the buildings were made to withstand the impact of 747s. I don't know if that were true or not, but the fact remains the buildings DID withstand the impact of these planes (even though the planes were traveling much faster than a normal plane. The buildings however were not built to withstand such an extensive fire with much of its internal insulation swept away by the plane crash.
