- EarlOfLade, on 02/23/2008, -1/+25So, these people are drinking champagne and ***** whores with my tax money and all the repukes are fine with this and loves the war.
***** traitors! All of the people involved in the corruption scandal should be charged with treason and serve the rest of their lives behind bars. - gofalcons, on 02/23/2008, -1/+25For all of you who don't believe that war is a racket, read this story. Stuff like this is just the tip of the iceberg, when you start to dig deeper, it starts to stink even more. But just remember, these people couldn't have gotten away with it without higher knowing about it and approving unchecked spending. Watch the movie "Iraq for Sale", it's pretty ***** up, but if you don't believe in conspiracies, you'll start to.
- carpespasm, on 02/23/2008, -1/+15Crooked and apathetic career politicians and war profiters have corrupted this country very deeply.
[fixed] They sit on both sides of the isle. - bobangitanov2, on 02/23/2008, -0/+13If only one could also indict the politicians who acted similarly...
- WolfHook, on 02/23/2008, -1/+14It isn't just republicans it is the whole dog and pony show! ***** wake up and realise that the entire thing is rigged! It's no better in my country or another country for that matter.
People commenting about the page ranking and diggs? Did you read the article? Just how much more of this ***** are you going to put up with whilst commenting on how an article makes it to the front page? - inactive, on 02/23/2008, -0/+12"...hung from the neck 'till dead..."
- IIAmusedII, on 02/23/2008, -0/+9What can you say of people who are more concerned with how the story made the front page than with what this story is actually about?

Best line in the whole article LOL - tgc1, on 02/23/2008, -0/+8Isn't it funny that America FREAKS OUT because the last president got a blow job and lied about it (like his sex life was really any of the publics business in the first place). But this president breaks every known rule in the book, and they're okay with it. If I ever knew of a country with their heads so far up their asses they could see out of their mouths, America would be the one.
- bassjam5, on 02/23/2008, -6/+13Republicans have corrupted this country to it's very core.
- altgeeky1, on 02/23/2008, -0/+7How about just making them serve under the soldiers?
- sigg14, on 02/23/2008, -1/+7republicans or democrats, makes no difference. the two parties are there merely to divide the people and keep us blaming the other party for all the problems as you just have, and not look at the real problem. the whole republicans and democrats are two wings of the same bird, and that bird is a vulture.
- SOS84, on 02/23/2008, -1/+6Way to go Dick. Given that Chaney has had (and likely still does have) vested interest in this corrupt corporation, is this really surprising? The Bush administration has redefined corruption in America. The Bush administration is looking more and more like one from a third world dictatorship, yet Republican still love him. What does that say for that little slice of Americana?
- BluesFan, on 02/23/2008, -0/+4We need to take the U.S back for the people ....but how do we get people to rise up?
- dondara, on 02/23/2008, -0/+4Wow, the fact she wasn't struck by lightning the moment those words left her lips is all the proof I need that God doesn't exist. Bitch should be slapped to floor for saying ***** like that. If you're gonna ***** somebody over, at least own it.
- skews13, on 02/23/2008, -0/+3please stop insulting my intelligence by telling me how concerned anybody is for the safety, and well being of the troops.
- NelsonR, on 02/23/2008, -0/+3When a country has an agenda to control nations through aggressive behavior, while ignoring the consequences, corruption pervades all sectors within that society. We are living that dream now so accept your corrupt leaders, they will be here tomorrow also while you devolve into rags and they, more riches.
- digindrivefast, on 02/23/2008, -0/+3It's the way wars have been waged and bridges, buildings, and business built off of tax payers backs and the blood, sweat and tears of an "innocent population" that our government chooses to annihilate...
Go ahead and vote for Clinton, McCant, Obama... the war machine will thank you!
"...Seamans, a 46-year-old Air Force veteran, once taught ethics to junior KBR employees. At his December 2006 sentencing hearing, he expressed remorse for taking the kickbacks, telling the judge: "It is not the way that Americans do business...." - kenplaysviola, on 02/23/2008, -0/+3People don't do anything until they lose their security and comfort. Until we are all standing in line for food, have no jobs, and they take away our American Idol TV show, will we actually fight for something. Until then, it's just a "this country is messed up" attitude, and we all go back to our comfortable lives... for now.
- deadcrickets, on 02/23/2008, -2/+4While I agree I don't think you understand politics. The idea is to never investigate your own political mates and to always investigate the other party. Key example being the comparison of Bill Clinton being impeached almost right off the bat while Bush gets male cheerleaders. Then compared that to Iran Contra and the initial reaction of Nixon's Watergate. If a Democrat gets into the presidency then I can assure you (especially if it's Hillary) that the Republicans will move to investigate them. Business as usual. It is more a matter of who can cover their ***** more and what they are willing to risk investigating on the other side while not exposing themselves.
- e68895f, on 02/23/2008, -0/+2when the gas price is high enough, people will rise up...
- warlokaz2004, on 02/23/2008, -0/+2Mission Accomplished!
- DangerCollie, on 02/23/2008, -2/+3I always thought it was amazing that Blackwater had no problem getting the new MRAPS but our Marines had to settle for up-armored Humvees.
The Republicans are hypocrites. They're all over the NY Times but when it comes to massive corruption and looting the taxpayers...not a peep out of any of them. Disgusting people. - allisonaxe, on 02/23/2008, -1/+2you know who I feel sorry for? i feel sorry for the poor prostitutes who will suddenly be thrust into the middle of a national political scandal.
- dupswapdrop, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1Ok so join the marines fight for our country and get screwed over, or join the war profiters and get tax free money and whores.
- schrutefan, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1Breaking: Only the military industrial complex profits from war.
- deadcrickets, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1I think you are looking at it wrong. See if you had just joined them you could have gone to the Super Bowl for free, ***** a whore, got drunk and probably had a free car and house. Duh!
- roho76, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1Ditto!
- LoJack, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1Hope the Marines don't get to see this.
- inactive, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1Draft the two drunk skanks
- dallasdano, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1"KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton Co."
