- inactive, on 06/18/2009, -0/+12El Guapo
- gforce051, on 06/18/2009, -0/+9Nothing scary about a guy whose bitch dissolves people in acid.
- Xaevier, on 06/18/2009, -0/+8"three other cars zoomed up then unleashed a fusillade of AK-47 gunfire and a single blast from a bazooka"
O_o Now that is one hell of an assassination, AK47s and a Bazooka. - o0adam0o, on 06/18/2009, -1/+9Nothing is scary behind a computer screen.
- inactive, on 06/19/2009, -0/+6This sounds like a job for El Mariachi:

- jwh1997, on 06/18/2009, -0/+4A Bazooka? Did they travel back in time to WWII to get this? Rob the Smithsonian? I'm betting it was a M72 LAW or a RPG.
- STBAT25, on 06/18/2009, -0/+3It's pretty well known that they triangulated his position through his cell phone. Before he always got away because he never stayed on long enough for them to get a good fix but that day he ***** up. As for the files, heres an except from a Rolling Stone Article.
"Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, arriving after the kingpin had fled, found neat shelves lined with loose-leaf binders, carefully organized by content. They were, says John Coleman, then the DEA's assistant administrator for operations, "filled with DEA reports" — internal documents that laid out, in extraordinary detail, the agency's repeated attempts to capture Escobar.
"He had shelves and shelves and shelves of these things," Coleman tells me. "It was stunning. A lot of the informants we had, he'd figured out who they were. All the agents we had chasing him — who we trusted in the Colombian police — it was right there. He knew so much more about what we were doing than we knew about what he was doing" - STBAT25, on 06/18/2009, -0/+3When they killed Escobar the DEA agent who lead the hunt for him was shocked to find massive files about everything the U.S. and the Colombians were doing. He's mistake was talking on the phone to his son for too long.
- joeraylambert, on 06/18/2009, -0/+3Its not fun to be sitting in the same restaurant as this guy, .. Durango MX, in 2008, not a pleasant experience.
- ImYourRealDad, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2No worries, I heard the Chief just had a son named Inigo Montoya.
- Type1, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2Felipe Calderon has revolutionized the country and a couple of years ago we would of not even been searching for these guys it would seem. There's only so much he can achieve though, since his term is not sequential. It is up to the next president and outside interests to also work on the continuing process that is this battle against drug-trafficking.
- Jeepy, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2Yes, yes it's me...I don't want trouble. I'm looking for a man who calls himself Bucho- No, not yet!.
- richmomz, on 06/19/2009, -1/+3Viva El Cheapo!
- socondi, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2"El Chapo" means 'shorty', it's very common here.
Riodoce is not as respected as it seem, because very few people read it. Most of the people reads "El Debate".
And everybody knows El Chapo is around here, this is a small town everybody knows everybody making really hard to hide. - kanojo1969, on 06/19/2009, -0/+2What a waste, all those lives, all that money. You can never stop it, it doesn't matter who you arrest or kill, there's a thousand Chapos just waiting to step in and take over - and on the streets of LA and NY the supply doesn't change, not even for a day.
And the US is sending 900 million dollars worth of military hardware to mexico, when we know full well that 1/3 of that money spent on prevention would have a far, far greater effect on the cartels.
Legalise it, and educate people. The entire South American & Mexican drug trade would dry up in a single year. How can the people responsible for this mess not be in jail? I'm talking about the US Drug Czar. They did tests in the late 80s and 90s with preventative education and showed conclusively that it works, but because it didn't fit with the gung-ho drug war propaganda it was never funded.
Tragic. - e73v3n, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2EL BARTO WAS HERE
- specialK16, on 06/18/2009, -0/+2[citation needed]

- Goda90, on 06/18/2009, -0/+1no see, El Guapo is infamous, which means hes more than famous
- carcho, on 06/18/2009, -1/+1The war that Felipe Calderón is fighting is a One-sided one, they're fighting against one part of the whole spectrum of cartels, and protecting "El Chapo", who everybody knows where he lives, even the military protected the whole site where he married.
So... that's the Brave President, Felipe Calderón, and the "honest" war he is fighting to"protect" our children. - joeraylambert, on 06/25/2009, -0/+0not necessarily, there was this one time your mom and I , ...
- mikemehak, on 06/19/2009, -1/+1I have a problem.
El Chapo is the guy who cuts my lawn and cleans my pool.
Now I now what you are saying, TURN HIM IN. But listen to this guys. He does a full days work for $60 cash. Some people might say I'm over paying him, but nobody wants this job and he earns it. He's great with my kids and lets the dogs out if I'm running late.
If I turn in El Chapo (or Chappy as I've been calling him) who will do my lawn? - specialK16, on 06/18/2009, -1/+1Damn it man, I kinda misread your post. Disregard that I suck *****.
- inactive, on 06/18/2009, -2/+1What does infamous mean?
- inactive, on 06/18/2009, -4/+2El chapo what a stupid sounding name... I am supposed to be afraid of a chapo? usually if I get chapo I put a little lotion on it... not scary at all.
- cheddaro, on 06/18/2009, -2/+0You got a good story out of it at least. I'm guessing your best story?
- kurupttek, on 06/18/2009, -5/+2I hope they catch this dude. I have my reasons
- durkadurkajerka, on 06/18/2009, -5/+2legalize it!
