He has offered $1,000,000 to anybody that can show him the law that makes the income tax legal. you want to disagree with him be my guest but you'd be a millionaire by proving him wrong.
not one supreme court decision has ruled on the legality of anything except a direct or indirect tax which makes income tax illegal. you have to know the law, not just the wording of amendments because wording in legal terms isn't the same wording in the English language. when they say income tax they are actually referring to capital gains made by a corporation and in law the definition is what makes law. I beg you to at least watch America from Freedom to Fascism because it shows all the court decisions made and explains how these decisions are irreversible because the supreme court has ruled on it 3 times.

Ok, I'll do that for you right now.
The personal income tax [only] pays off the interest that accrues from the government borrowing money from the Federal Reserve. The Congress is suppose to be in charge of the money system, not some private entity.
The personal income tax does [not] go to roads (gas tax does), nor education (property tax does), nor police or fire (sales, state, property tax does), nor any other service you can name is funded by Federal Income Tax.
Believe what ever you want.
These states seem to do fine with out income tax. But, maybe it's an illusion.

Ron Paul 2008. - Herkimer56, on 10/11/2007, -6/+6"We never had an income tax before 1913."
Actually we did but that's not important right now. What's important is that we didn't really need an income tax before 1913 because we didn't have 300 million people living in this country. Do you have any idea what it costs to provide even the basic necessary services for that many people? No, of course you don't. You bunch of kiddies, fast food workers and low grade morons that are bitching about the income tax really piss me off because you don't even pay income tax. You get yours back at the end of the year in a refund. If you can crank out a few babies you can get the earned income credit and actually get back more than you pay in. If you don't like the income tax why don't you just quit filing returns? Then some bright sunny morning you'll wake up with a squad of cops on your front lawn and you can join your redneck, white trash hero in federal prison. Don't worry, we'll pay our taxes so the government can afford to feed you. - 1013, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4@fuzz
Excise taxes(phone tax, gas tax, etc) pay for your roads and entitlements. The income tax is not an excise tax and only covers the interest we owe to the Federal Reserve. There is too much literature and "proof" to list it all here and I don't want to be accused of being a spammer. I started with "The Creature from Jekyl Island", and contacted my Representative for information on which taxes pay for what programs. - basicspecifics, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@ dshpls
Roads are paid for the tax on Gas which is a legal indirect tax.
Schools are paid for by property tax which is a legal direct tax.
Income tax according to the IRC is only taxable if you are a "taxpayer" which a majority of Americans are not and the income tax only goes to pay for interest on the national debt.
I'm thinking dhspls is a liar working for the IRS because nobody can be this dedicated to slandering while simultaneously refusing to prove people wrong. you can't prove a fact wrong by slander and he knows this. it just seems obvious you're here to simply misinform.

Oh wait a second, Americans don’t read their own constitution. If you won’t read your own constitution, then read what Karl Marx has to say about income tax in his communist manifesto posted below:
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production- Archos, on 10/11/2007, -8/+13We Are Living the Communist Manifesto!

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known, and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor. He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in hearts of men. He rots the soul of a nation. He works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city. He infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A Murderer Is Less To Be Feared." Cicero, 42 B.C.

Article 10. Right of Revolution
New Hampshire is the only state which provides for a "Right of Revolution" in its state constitution. The Right of Revolution is a right dating back to the Revolutionary War, and is held in high regard in New Hampshire by members of the libertarian Free State Project. Article 10 reads: "Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind."
And as a reminder to the so-called Patriots within this movement...
True Patriots don't engage sovereign nations in imperial wars for the benefit of the global elite. True Patriots rush to the aid of fellow Patriots in times of crisis.
Ed and Elaine Brown are true Patriots and have already won this battle before a single shot has rang out.
The two-headed dragon which is the IRS and Federal Reserve is on the verge of capitulation. However, if they are willing to breathe fire upon the fortress once more, Ed Brown and his faithful supporters shall unleash their mighty sword and decapitate them. Let's hope and pray it doesn't come to this, but be prepared that it will.

Meanwhile, here at Digg, our local conspiracy theorists, have so far called for the murder of US policemen, suggested that the release of Paris Hilton(!) was a diversion to draw attention from this "important" event; accused a truther who's less deluded than they are of being a shill and an agent for Rockefeller (who's an illuminati in the imaginary New World Order), and have tied these events to both the Communist Manifesto and the writings of Seneca.
