- akhomestead, on 03/30/2009, -1/+26Oh no, we'll need to pass a new law to stop this. Maybe a 90 day probation during which time the police can enter you home at anytime to see if you doing anything illegal. I mean for the good of the children.
- inactive, on 03/30/2009, -2/+25Prohibition = drug dealers
- toastgodsupreme, on 03/30/2009, -1/+16All I see is...
Drug dealers pay rent. Rent money goes to landlord. Landlord purchases goods and services from other people. Other people now have money to spend on goods and services. Oh look, the economy at work. - shacknasty, on 03/30/2009, -0/+15There seems to have been alot of NZ articles on digg recently. Did we finally get the internet/electricity?
- noahgelman, on 03/30/2009, -0/+14This is news? I kinda figured that thats how they did it anyways. I figured it was one of those common knowledge things.
- solidcube, on 03/30/2009, -0/+12I like it when he said that speed is tearing the very fabric of their society to pieces. Hyperbole much?
What's tearing it to pieces, drugs or the fact that they are putting so many people in jail for victimless "offenses?" - Yurikov, on 03/30/2009, -0/+10*cop pops head in throw window*
"Hello there! Doing anything bad this evening citizens?" - getatmedigg, on 03/30/2009, -0/+7Damn Hobbits!
- inactive, on 03/30/2009, -0/+7In Australia they rent units / houses / farms to grow it...
And while it remains illegal bikers and mobsters will continue to make profits..

- inactive, on 03/31/2009, -0/+4legalize drugs and stop the violence
- inactive, on 03/30/2009, -0/+4RUN, There is now an escalator in NZ too!
- dsalmon9, on 03/31/2009, -0/+4In more news, drug dealers wear shoes when driving in cars that they use to transport the drugs. I say we crack down on shoe manufacturers to stop this menace to society. Oh, and car companies too. And don't forget the people that pave the road. Down with them too.
The people who make Ziploc bags are the the worst. - drewt333, on 03/30/2009, -1/+5Hideous but true. That 'amendment' is probably already in the Recovery and Revitalization Act under both housing and health care.
- inactive, on 03/30/2009, -0/+4*shrug*
Whatever someone does in their own dwelling, rented or owned, is their business. As a landlord, the only ***** thing I care about is getting paid rent and the assurance that they won't destroy the place. Sell drugs, be a hooker, I couldn't care less - just follow those two rules. - NUMBER4940, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3must be an abbreviation for their word for meth, which is made with pseudoephedine or ephedrine.
- MWeather, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3Rape isn't consensual, buying drugs is.
- EllimistX, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3Well, where else are they going to put the drugs?
- inactive, on 03/31/2009, -0/+3Not in this case!!

Cheye, struggling to understand, pieced together questions officers asked him and comments he overheard. Narcotics investigators for the Prince George's police had apparently left that white box on his front step, then sent SWAT officers from the Sheriff's Office to retrieve it. - MWeather, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3Most of those morons were committing crimes to get money to buy a drug that would be cost pennies if it was legal. That and the crimes committed avoiding arrest. Those crimes would be eliminated if the drug were legal.
The rest didn't do anything some drug idiot hasn't also done. - lenjen1386, on 03/30/2009, -1/+4That's what drug lords do here in the Philippines. Eventually, they get busted because of the awful scent while manufacturing drugs (cocaine usually). But it takes a long time before that happens because they try to keep things real low..and that means paying left sided cops to keep their operations unkown. Luckily, citizens are much vigilant.
- techdever, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3down the buried road
- cagrino, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3FTA: The warning from Customs Minister Maurice Williamson came as he told of a huge increase in the seizure of cold medicine being imported to make P.
P??? - FortyCaliber, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3In California, Landlords can give a 24 hour notice that they are going to do a "property maintenance check" to ensure that all equipment is in good repair.
- lizard450, on 03/30/2009, -1/+4Gee Digg ... gonna tell us something we don't already know from watching weeds?
- shroominbal, on 03/30/2009, -0/+3People who have no money and pay cash in advance and lease for short terms? sound like many new homeless people to me who will tell the different? maybe legalize will solve all that ***** once and for all
- Dinsdale77, on 03/30/2009, -1/+3Soon they will have enough for a mortgage.
- bikerdad1, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2Yet another toxic mortgage related issue. Only a short time until drug dealers realize that they can launder drug money by buying up stressed mortgages.
- PeanutCheeseBar, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2no ***** ddog
- pimperj, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2In South Africa we call it "Tik" (spelt with same letter "i" as in "sit") - http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Tik

- wassim2k, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2I guess it beats living in your parent's basement, but this new overhead may be past on to customers. hip hop ftl
- Dudely, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2That was the first thing I thought of too when I first read the title. I was like obvious article is obvious.
- MWeather, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2Uh, no. The cops didn't send the drugs. The package was sent from out of state.
- inactive, on 03/31/2009, -0/+2Greatness!
- toastgodsupreme, on 04/02/2009, -0/+2Drugs != Rape.
And comparing the two is retarded. The point is drugs are only illegal because the govt says so.
Rape is illegal because it involves infringing on the rights of one person forcibly by another.
I don't do drugs, I probably never will due to my personality type (I'd probably be hooked if I ever tried any). But I also feel that it's not the govt's job to dictate what people can put in their bodies. Especially when they have legalized so many more dangerous drugs (alcohol, tobacco, etc) and yet things like marijuana are still illegal. Ridiculous. There are only two people fighting for marijuana to stay illegal at this point... the ignorant, and the religious morality nuts. - inactive, on 03/31/2009, -0/+2Soon you will get Elevators. Once that happens you expect to see buildings over 8 stories high...
- audreysee, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2Poor landlords. Some of them may really not know what's going on. While those who know everything their tenants do must look out. Drug dealers won't let this pass without doing something about it.
- solidcube, on 03/31/2009, -0/+2Since you're concerned with bikies, surely you'd like to see their main source of funds removed. Right? Or not so much, because you haven't thought things through...
That said, speed is truly some evil *****. - inactive, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2In some places in America as part of a police drug bust the cops will ship the drugs to your door then bust you when you pick up the package unknowingly .. thats what happened to one town mayor and the cops shot his dog and then blamed him
- MelissaOfTroy, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2They did this story on Weeds last season.
- Coinspinner, on 03/30/2009, -0/+2Well, if the governments of the world make the decision to let children and criminals run the largest commodities market on the planet then yes, crazy stuff is going to happen.
- shacknasty, on 03/30/2009, -0/+1they also got a ***** terrible new website design :/
- fastmikey, on 03/30/2009, -2/+3No - it's the goddamn morons on the drugs:
