Does the idea of customs officials tampering with ones belongings and planting drugs worry anyone else? Don't you think there are enough people that bring drugs into airports that they wouldn't need to plant them in luggage? I bet if this guy got caught by the cops after he left the airport and got detained the police would never believe that it wasn't his. This single act has the ability to ruin somebodys career or professional life, and it is really unacceptable in my eyes. - MarkusGarvey, on 06/04/2008, -0/+5wow $10.000 for 5 oz of pot!...and the dog couldn't find it!...epic fail!!..
- Qong, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1That is the craziest story that I've read all day.
Seriously, what were they thinking doing this? Everyone directly involved, as well as their direct supervisors, should all be fired. This is absolutely unacceptable. Thankfully it happened in a country other than my own, I certainly don't feel that this would happen in the United States, and if it did, I'm sure that there would be consequences to be dealt with for whoever was involved with the planting. - InnerGypsy, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0All I can say is "wow".
- Spook86, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1That is some crazy sh*t. Now I'd would have diffidently went back, got my bags and the weed, then protest and try to push for legalize Mauritania. So this won't be a problem next time.LOL
