This is insane. Lock these sick people up for life!

On DIGG we've dugg outrageous stories. On DIGG we've read heartbreaking stories. On DIGG we've seen sick-to-the-stomach stories. But my fellow diggers this is the first time that I can remember digging & reading a story that is -- to borrow a phrase from digger @reflex768 -- that is PURE EVIL!

What is wrong with humanity!?!?!?!?!

I've known ***** like this in my lifetime. No person means ***** to them. People that can do things like this are much more common than anyone suspects. But concentrate on rooting out and destroying these people noooo, gotta get them there pot smokers!

Nope can't spend the time investigating these people even though it was brought to the attention of the police. No undercover agents sent there! Gotta bust another pot smoker!!

This reminds me a LOT of another story. It was the first true crime book I ever picked up, about Sylvia Likens. "Sixteen-year-old Sylvia Likens was found murdered with "I'm a prostitute and proud of it" burned onto her stomach. So if there's a crazy psycho bossypants in your life watch the ***** out. If they have enough power over enough other assholes the weakest link is going to be singled out and perhaps tortured to death. Bad times.

Death penalty

Couldn't get past the first 2 sentences, I knew where it was headed.

It's incredible how people like this can dehumanize another person to the point where their life appears insignificant. It's the Nazi German holocaust on a microscale.

Death penalty by torture for the mother. I'm somewhat torn about the kids she had. Doesn't sound like she raised them to know the difference between right and wrong, and now they'll be in jail for the rest of their lives because of her neglect and abuse of them (which is really what this is as well).

FTA:

Why the ***** didn't any of those neighbors call police when a disabled woman was forced to run around outside naked?!

Who impregnated a disabled woman not once, but twice?

All in all, this sounds like a horror movie that would invoke rage for its main victim (I'm considering the children the mother had as semi-victims as well) is disabled AND pregnant.

This is all just unspeakably sick.

They said almost like living in a prison? Prison is bad i bet but you don't have to walk around naked and worry about where your next meal is in prison. Prison is a paradise to what this woman went through.

call me what you will but if i lived next to this house and even suspected it? I would do some recon (at night) to get the truth. I saw my nieghbor beat his dog repeatedly over a summer. "Cue Mission Impossible music" Let's just say that the dog has been "relocated" and last I heard loves his new digs - chillin' by my dad's feet every night. Peace

people like this cant be bothered with the justice system method of punishment , what this people need is a public torture and death so they know what it means to be on the other side of the knife and gun. sure we degrade ourselves by stooping to their level but its the only level they know how to communicate.

Kids, now you can torture just like our honorable young men at Gitmo.

I sobbed a little reading that. My brother has developmental delays and I'm terrified of the day he wants to move away from my parent's house. He's "slow" but he still wants to be like everyone else. My whole life I wanted to keep him in a bubble to protect him from bullies and worse... I sympathize with this woman's family. I hope her 1 year old recovers and lives as normal a life as he can. Such a sad story.

I don't think it's cruel and unusual punishment to treat the suspects the same as the victim. I say death by slow torture.

By the way, the main criminal got her rocks off by being in charge and the boss of the family. I wonder how she's going to feel in prison when she becomes somebody's bitch. Yes, it can happen in female lock-ups as well.

Death penalty. I wish we had it in Canada sometimes. If you give these five people life in prison, I'm sure they'd go to their graves believing they'd done nothing wrong and had been unfairly treated by the system.

Am I the only one who hasn't heard of this criminal charge before? I was just a bit surprised to see that in the list. I wonder, purely out of curiosity, why abortion doesn't call into this category if the category does indeed exist.
