- BLyn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+142Geeze i'd love that town. Fights could be settled by burying each other as lame.
- RobertS44, on 10/10/2007, -5/+116Now this is true original content.
- webcrunch, on 10/10/2007, -5/+91Now when someone tells you "Yeah I spend all day in Digg" don't assume he's a news freak :-)
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+63anyone up for a live Diggnation?

- AnonymousFan9, on 10/10/2007, -4/+48"I happened to stumble upon a town in Switzerland called Digg."
And by stumble upon, you mean you searched for "Digg"? At first I was under the impression that you were slowly scrolling through the entire planet zoomed all the way in to find funny names. - r2700, on 10/10/2007, -0/+43Dugg for Digg's proximity to a town called 'Lag'
- maheshee11, on 10/10/2007, -4/+44Great find!
- wildfire, on 10/10/2007, -5/+37There's news on Digg?
- xShad0w, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33Everyone would have to walk around giving thumbs up or down to rate people though, haha
- rgodfrey, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24Nice find. Although garbage dumps and landfills are probably the only locations that can be litterally on a map.
- alexw, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24Someone travel there and carve the digg logo into the Earth! In a few years when (if) these satellite images are updated, we can all have a collective chuckle for two seconds and then move on.
- unitedstatians, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Apparently, the USA also has a town named diggs on Diggs, Virginia.
The URL is actually (desde google maps):
http://maps.google.com/maps?output=setprefs&near=Diggs,+VA - arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18I do that already. Someone says something funny or lame at work and I just automatically think "digg" or "buried as lame".
i spend way too much time here. - leomyhero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Lame

Thats the real link - arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9You have to be careful now when you say "stumble upon." Whenever someone says that, I automatically think they used their "StumbleUpon" bar in Firefox and it brought them there.

If you don't like the previous Digg font (fff forward) Try www.whatthefont.com and look up (fff freedom). Just thought that I’d share. That's what the Internet is for (besides pr0n, of course) - HUKI365, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Hence the reason why they change it to "Dugg, Switzerland"
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I bet that small town don't even have the Internets.
- kingvik, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Digg, Switzerland is crazy awesome
- atlacatl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Mhhhh...Lawsuits...
- krinn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Actually that's a lake. All the lakes in Switzerland are called 'lags'. :)
- therightclique, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3there's no ***** excuse for a typo like that. it definitely wasn't a typo. you just don't know how to spell common words.
- PsyQ, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I have a house in Siat, Switzerland, which means that I drive past Trin, Trin Digg and Trin Mulin every few weeks on my way up there. I haven't been to Trin Digg recently, but Trin itself is actually home to a small lake (Lag da Cresta in Rumantsch, Crestasee in German -- it's on Google Maps) which is packed full of people in summer and known in the entire canton of Grisons. That's why here, lots of people know Trin and have seen the signs pointing to Trin Digg. Another interesting tidbit: Trin marks the start of the Surselva valley and of the Rumantsch Sursilvan-speaking corner of Grisons. Rumantsch is the fourth national language of Switzerland.
When I'm there the next time, I promise to go take a picture of the town sign to see if it says Trin Digg or just Digg. I'll post a link to Digg, which will swiftly be ignored by the masses! - kbandy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4TRADEMARK VIOLATION :-O
- mookieXL, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Is there anything that DOESN'T look like penis to you?
- SquigglyP, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Hey that looks familiar... what is that?
Oh that's right... it's the logo no one ever even notices unless Digg goes down!
You'd think, if they were really looking to brand the logo, they would at least have the sense to put it at the top of their pages.
Also, that's a crap logo. - ubernerd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2There's also a town named Digg in the Scottish highlands. I wanted to take a picture when I drove through but I couldn't get my driver to stop for long enough to get my camera out.
