- SlackerCSB, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7They listen to Christian rock stations, wear bracelets with heart-shaped charms engraved with "tlw" ("true love waits") promising them to chastity until marriage... What is wrong with these people?"
Why is this is a bad thing?- toppgun, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6they are suppressing their survival instincts. teenagers have hormones for a natural reason, let nature take its course
- slynki, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Toppgun - Well said. Suppressing one's nature cannot be healthy. Educate them, help them be responsible with their sexuality and let nature take it's course. I am a father and I can only hope that my kids will be smart about sex. It would be absolutely foolish to try and tell them not to do it.
- andreo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6"promising them to chastity until marriage..."
... by only doing anal and oral, because that's not real sex in the eyes of the lord...

//pass the k-y please
- slynki, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Damn kids these days!
Seriously though, when I was a teenager, religion was a something to keep in the closet. It was a mark of shame.
Hopefully, it's just a phase and they will grow out of it.- redforty, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6That's aweful. No one should be ashamed of their religion.
- slynki, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Great idea. Let's all stand up and shout "I believe in a magical sky pixie!".
It is absolutely unbelievable that in this age, people still follow this nonsense. - Cameleopard, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"That's aweful. No one should be ashamed of their religion."
Yes they should! Religion systematizes ignorance, intolerance and other words beginning with "i." The religious lead unexamined lives, lacking true comprehension of ethics and the world around them. Religion is the ultimate sacrifice of reason and free will and should be openly disdained.
- PowerCow, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8they are still the minority
and please quit spamming this digg in other comment sections.- daonlyfreez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I agree, but I came here thru such a spam link and had a good laugh.
There is nothing wrong with these kids, and the Guardian is a tabloid anyway.
(I agree on the sex things though)

- dustedbunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Not only is this lame, and in the wrong topic, but you've also been spamming it on other digg articles all day.
- jtizzle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4if there's one thing i hate, it's ***** bible beaters.
- seamusfurr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If they're praying instead shooting up their school, snorting meth, knocking each other up, or spreading disease, I'm all for teenage religiosity.
...As long as they don't take the Bible as a history or science book... - logic11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Okay, I buried this (as lame) because the poster kept spamming comments on other submissions. Actually, other than that I liked the article.
- setec, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Wow. If a teenager wants to believe in his or her religion, why is this a bad thing? They are not harming anyone and they are not harming themselves.
I am so sick of all you DIGG users who are so anti-Christian, anti-religion.
I marked this as spam simply because I followed a spam link to get here.- slynki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm just going to quote Cameleopard from his/her ealier comment. I could certainly say more, but if you have to ask why it's bad, you probably won't give it a thought anyway.
