The worst fear a parent faces, and then for it to happen in reality... terrible pain.
But we celebrate his life and service, and rightly so. I heard there is an upcoming PBS documentary that trashes our participation in WWII, says we were as bad as the dictators and mass murderers on the other side. Oh yeah? How about the millions we liberated from those dictators. People, the Left is sick. We really must do something to wrench this country out of their hands. They can't think straight. What better eulogy to a fallen hero As a swabbie I made fun of "our sea going bell hops" much like two brother might make fun of each other. But the pride I feel in our modern day Marines, Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors can not be denied. While the left looks and at war and says why, it is with the clearness of thought and conviction that todays military member look at the war and say "We have no other option, we tried diplomacy, we tried sanctions, but evil in spite of the warnings continued on its path of destruction, now we take action."
