Darfur's Forgotten Rebel: The 'Nelson Mandela of Sudan' Imprisoned for Year

An elderly statesman, until recently the humanitarian coordinator, Suleiman has been called the "Nelson Mandela of Sudan." For his efforts to try to unify rebels and publicly disclosing human rights abuses, Khartoum has imprisoned him in isolation for a full year.
