Dallas SWAT Officer Shot in Neck Making Strides in Recovery

dallasnews.com — Lt Marshall was shot in the neck in October serving a warrant in Oak Cliff. Like a scene out of tv (Dallas SWAT anyone?), the SWAT physicians on the team worked quickly to stabilize him. Now he's able to speak a little, and no one thought he'd even make it that far. Here's to a courageous public servant. May he and his family have a Merry Christmas
