- elpasoGuy, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2That's what a 439.3 billion a year defense budget gets our troops, WTF!!
- loggia, on 04/28/2008, -2/+2Since there's now way the right to spin this, they will have to find someway to attack someone. Since they can't attack the soldiers, whom they supposedly support, they'll have to attack the media as misportraying the condition of soldiers. So the coverage will be of some new base that is beautiful and then they'll show this as an isolated freak incident.
It doesn't matter that that is *****, that our soldiers STILL can't get the equipment they need and live in dangerous and ***** conditions. Faced with that, the right will then say "Well, war is tough. They have to man up."
Enough with you people who say you support the soldiers and then use every ***** line you can use to pretend they are getting what they need. Why just say the truth: it's appalling. ! How is turning the other cheek being a patriot or American? - lhbaker, on 04/29/2008, -0/+1Can't wait for the comments about how the soldiers should just man-up and accept this as an every day part of warfare.

Barracks for Charlie CO 2/508 82n Airborne: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46vYZFU1Dew - BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/29/2008, -0/+4"The buildings used by the 82nd Airborne are about 50 years old, he said."
Only 50? At least they're not WW2 era like the ones they put transient reservists in. Every soldier has their, "I stayed in the worst barracks in the Army story." Glad to see something is getting done though. - Andy.D, on 04/29/2008, -1/+1What a disgrace. More proof that America's leadership doesn't care bout troops, only power.
- dougvfr750, on 04/29/2008, -0/+2Not matter your political opinions our soldiers deserve better than this....
