- foochow94, on 11/05/2009, -0/+24his last name has DUI in it... haha
- Jaiotu, on 11/06/2009, -0/+11It's DUIs... as in multiples. Which explains why he does this every night.
- Speed, on 11/06/2009, -3/+10You know what? No. It's beyond the typical "government is out to get us" paranoia to automatically assume that no one reported the driver. If the cop pulled the guy over for no reason, the story would have been "after officers noticed him driving erratically". Also, if you're over the limit, don't drive. I don't care how good of a driver you think you are, you're not. A beer or two, probably won't put you over .08, so you wouldn't be *****, but if you are over .08, don't ***** drive. The fact of the matter is, alcohol makes you a bad driver. Too many people die every year from impaired drivers, and it's completely preventable. If you can afford to go to the bar and get drunk, you can afford a ***** cab, or at least to bribe a sober friend to give you a ride home.
- numberneal, on 11/05/2009, -0/+7so do i; but i keep the steering wheel @ home.
- Speed, on 11/06/2009, -0/+5Irrelevant. He's drunk, he shouldn't be driving.
- 2winhe1ix, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5CRUISIN USA!
- thegrantman, on 11/05/2009, -1/+6You sound a bit irate......oh, nevermind.
- Hood15, on 11/06/2009, -0/+4It's like his parents knew...
- inactive, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4Don't piss him off. Wait, he's already ir8
- TheCollective00, on 11/06/2009, -1/+5I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but I'll bet the whole story about "the Porter County Sheriff’s Dept. received a call of a truck being driven erratically, according to a release from Indiana State Police" is complete ***** *****. I've been pulled over for absolutely no reason at all, just because some ***** cop decided to tail gate me for 5 blocks even though I drove 100 percent perfectly fine, and if I had happened to have a beer or two at the bar after work then gone home, I probably would have been ***** with some ***** DUI charge. So yea, just playing devil's advocate here (plus, I happen to be kind of drunk).
- johndavidjack, on 11/06/2009, -0/+4Cool story bro.
- zip000, on 11/06/2009, -0/+3I had a roommate in college who would go out pretty much every night and get completely hammered and drive home. I rode with him once, and it was just horrible - he was running stop signs and laughing about it, all over the road, etc. I never rode with him again after that.
This went on for the whole time he was my roommate...after he left, I found out he hadn't paid the rent in three months even though I had given him the money for it.
^cool story bro^ - MLisa, on 11/06/2009, -0/+2Calling the cop Dude is not exactly going to get you off on the right foot.
- Hood15, on 11/06/2009, -0/+2Dug for "You know what? No."
The rest was bonus material. Although, good luck with that whole "sober friend at the bar" situation. - diggdong, on 11/06/2009, -3/+5cool story bro
- JimmyDThing, on 11/06/2009, -0/+2I'm getting tired of the misuse of the word "also." You can't just append it to the end of sentences with a completely separate thought.
- Alcorr, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1lawl
- DaDrake, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1OMG ... ***** off and die!
- alittleroy101, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Here in Colorado, the BAC limit is .05 for DWAI, which ***** you as much as a DUI. One drink can put you over the limit.
- foxley, on 11/07/2009, -0/+1stay classy ... drunkard.
- johndavidjack, on 11/06/2009, -1/+2Yeah, it really is ridiculous.
But back to the someone calling the police story, when I was around 12, my Dad and I were driving home late from a family party, and these drunk ***** in a huge pickup truck were driving side by side with a limo driving while one guy was almost fully out of the window trying to grab the limo's mirror. They were swerving all over the road, etc.
So my Dad called the police from a pay phone, but I don't think they caught the guys, since I didn't see anything in the paper about it... - spookyttws, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1I've never heard the term "furnishing alcohol to a minor" before, but my understanding of the word "furnishing" means that this guy was shellacking someone under 18 with vodka. Which sounds like a great time, no matter what. That said, getting drunk every night is your business, doing it in public and driving several miles home afterward is not acceptable and this person should be severely punished for putting so many innocent people in danger.
- j0phus, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1When I left that there were maybe 15 diggs total. I didn't think this was going to ever make it on the main page and wanted to see if this was submitted by someone local - I don't know anyone here. The thing is, I wasn't trying to entertain you.
Amazing comment you left there yourself, asshat. - smashblu, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Sounds like an upstanding citizen.
- Cerin, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1He was later heard remarking, "Don't tase me bro!"

LOL
Go home with a bitch, provided you think you have a way to get home in the early morning before the whole beer googles wear off, or the cuddling starts.
- nheron87, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Dude, these lame ass stories end up on the front page every night, I'm straight up tired of it!
