Corp of Engineers screws up in New Orleans - Again!
blog.nola.com — A mistake in calculations claimed a 5 1/2 foot improvement of flood protection for a New Orleans neighborhood after upgrading the levees. It's more like only a half a foot because the data got fouled up when somebody put a minus sign in a calculation that called for a plus sign.

New Orleanians are rebuilding their homes DESPITE the US government. Get over it. Citizenship is not based on elevation. I am ashamed of my country for the abandonment I saw with my own eyes this morning.
