      - Suspect fails to obey an order to halt (such order is given, if feasible, and does not increase the danger to the officer or others).
      The article doesnt go into detail on how it all went down but I don't find it excessive that he was shot. Also I dont think the officer "missed" I'm sure he was aiming for center mass and fortunately for the criminal he wasnt killed. I'm sure the cop couldnt tell it was a caulking gun and put yourself in a position like that ... If you couldnt tell and it came down to it would you hesitate to make sure it was 100% a functioning firearm? I'm also pretty sure he threatened someones life when he robbed the place... thats usually how you get what you want when you rob someone right?
