foxnews.com — Code Pink is now resorting to witchcraft to beef up the number of its supporters protesting Berkeley's controversial Marine Corps Recruiting Center.

- BuzzFriendly, on 05/09/2008, -5/+11While I am no fan of liberalism, I would also point out that the conservatives have done an exemplary job of aligning themselves with wonderful terrorist free countries like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
- mickstephenson, on 05/09/2008, -3/+8I think to label the people who support America leaving the war is falsely labeled left wing, as in other countries peoples don't fall so neatly in line with there given political allegiance, its more of an isolationist policy. In Britain people who would describe themselves as left would not be so eager to leave Iraq in its current state, as it is irresponsible. Indeed the Vietnam war was really about supporting the South Vietnamese, a country that WANTED to be helped, and not fall to the red. Yet the supposedly caring "hippies" POV was basically they didn't give a ***** about the South Vietnamese as long as American lives weren't lost, that doesn't sound bleeding heart liberal to me, just isolationist.
- Jimmyb207, on 05/09/2008, -13/+4Patriotic Americans want to know where the so called weapons of mass destruction are.
Patriotic Americans want to know why they let Osama Bin Forgotten escape.
Patriotic Americans want to know why the Bush Administration would not allow a full investigation of 9-11.
Patriotic Americans want to know why Bush endorses torture.
Patriotic Americans want to know why unAmerican Bush has brought forth unAmerican "acts" and entities that are destroying our Constitution and civil liberties such as dept. of homeland security(nazi), fisa, fema, Protect America act. Patriot act 1&2(police state), H.R. 1955: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007(will make certain"thoughts" a crime).
The 'waste of oxygen' is due to the vast number of slack jawed mouth breathers that actually think Bush's war is Patriotic!
The war is an atrocity, a crime on humanity and a horrible waste of life. All for the oil that is being sold back to the U.S. for over double the cost before the war. American oil corporations are screwing this country hard and dry. 4,000+ dead American soldiers. Is it worth it for WHAT EVER THE ***** IT IS THIS WAR IS ABOUT??
- mickstephenson, on 05/09/2008, -3/+5Patriotic Americans obviously don't care about the obligation to clean a place up after you ***** it up.
- rjwusa, on 05/09/2008, -16/+11Commie Kucinich? If you support that dolt, maybe your patriotism and support for the Constitution ought to be questioned.
- dondara, on 05/09/2008, -8/+9Questioned? Yeah? And if my "patriotism" is lacking, then what? Gitmo? Execution? Deportation? My support for the Constitution is unflappable which is why I am so pissed off at what the criminals that are currently robbing this country blind are doing. If you were the "patriot" you claim to be, you would be leading the march to capture and arrest the criminals that are stealing from the citizens of this country and killing our children for their selfish gain. As if a few towel headed criminals required our military to rout them out. Ridiculous.
- rjwusa, on 05/09/2008, -4/+7dondra, I watch about an hour of TV a week. I am a U.S. Army veteran. I left the republican party and registered Independent. I run a company and pay huge confiscatory taxes and deal with sever red tape and regulation. I give to charities and to my church. I run a political blog that is conservative. I carry a gun at times and have studied the Bill of Rights and Constitution and other founding documents for years. I do think for myself and I will refrain from blasting your emotional comment. What do you do for your country? Have you enlisted yet? Do you volunteer for the Peace Corps? What do you do for the U.S.?
- dondara, on 05/10/2008, -2/+2@rjwusa I already did my time in the Army. Emotional? Of course it is. I am watching my homeland ruined by selfish, elitist scum that care nothing for the laws and values this country was founded on. And I am watching sensible people supporting criminal acts. I know that change is inevitable but it doesn't have to be for the worse. If you think the actions of the current administration are legal and just then continue on your merry way and ignore my "emotional" comments. I'm just another commie who wants our kids to come home.
- jerger23, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5@dondara:
"you would be leading the march to capture and arrest the criminals that are stealing from the citizens of this country and killing our children for their selfish gain"
Who's robbing this country blind and killing our children for selfish gain? You must mean the government. You should substantiate that or it will be perceived as an opinion which will be weighed against other comments you've made like the ignorant one below.
"As if a few towel headed criminals required our military to rout them out."
Yes, the "towel-headed criminals" came to us without our military routing them out on 9/11. You left a hyphen out of your incredibly obnoxious slur directed at the Arabs, thought I'd fix that for you.

- jabberwolf, on 05/09/2008, -10/+20Why are we in IRAQ?
Why didnt we finish the job back in 1991 and not be in the mess we are in now?! We would have had international support and Iran would be gutless to do interfere. But thanks to pink loons and conspiracy theorists we had to back out, against General Swartzkoff's advice, and now we are back again.
Which only goes to show that doing NOTHING, does not create peace (never has), but instead festers more war.
But go on with your protests, because you have done nothing with your life or for your country, and feeling right about something is more important to you than DOING something right.- Troika37, on 05/09/2008, -3/+7We would never gotten Saudi support to (or the Turks, for that matter) to topple Saddam, and the coalition would have collapsed. Bush 41 knew this, and did not push for regime change.
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -10/+3Why did we need to "finish the job?" Saddam posed no threat to us. The job was finished.
- Jlaugh, on 05/09/2008, -6/+3The job seems to be to gut Iraq, and make sure it never recovers.
- Picaroon, on 05/09/2008, -5/+17I've seen your posts before, YCW. Here's the problem. No matter what the issue is, no matter who is wrong or obviously crazy (hint: in this case, it's Code Pink), you always post the exact same thing. It's like your brain is stuck in an endless loop of "BUSH IS EVIL ISRAEL SUCKS BUSH IS EVIL ISRAEL SUCKS..."
It doesn't matter how you feel about the war, the Marines, Bush, or anything else--almost everyone can agree that these Code Pink idiots are both harming their cause more than helping it (while committing illegal activity, I might add, when they block access to the OSO) and are truly ***** nuts. And it's pretty damn funny. So just enjoy that and consider posting your comments on Bush in a more relevant place.- IconoclastStill, on 05/10/2008, -1/+7" . . . consider posting your comments on Bush in a more relevant place."

- ProLifeWoman, on 05/09/2008, -37/+79LMAO! Thank God these freaks stay in their own little twisted corner of the world and leave the rest of us alone! The Marines can handle these crazy bitches. Sadly these people are allowed to vote and will probably vote for an equally crazy liberal for president!
- JAVandiver, on 05/09/2008, -5/+15E.g., Barrack Obama?
- digggggggggg, on 05/09/2008, -3/+17Uggh... I happen to live in that particular corner of the world, and I gotta say, it's annoying as all hell. Between them and those tree sitters ( http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/sfo/466281874 ... ), I'd have to say code pink is probably a lot more irritating. It just seems like the number of crazy people in this town has no end.
Fortunately, I have become incredibly good at just tuning them out. - anaesthetica, on 05/09/2008, -0/+12The Marines certainly can handle them, but remember that Code Pink also protests at the gates of Walter Reed, specifically targeting the wounded soldiers. They have been doing this for a year or two *before* the whole Walter Reed scandal, so it's not as if they were protesting the conditions of Walter Reed. They were specifically aiming their protests at the wounded soldiers, which I think is cowardly and low. If you want to protest, go protest the White House, the Pentagon, the State Dept, etc, not the wounded soldiers.
So while the Marines can handle them, they also pick on more vulnerable targets.
- MarkCiccone, on 05/09/2008, -56/+20I DARE you to be more biased FOX...
By the way, who still supports this war? A horrible economy and $4.00 gas still aren't enough to convince even the most close minded conservatives? Because the human factor obviously doesn't come to play for them.- KJeffV, on 05/09/2008, -12/+41Things look different after high school—trust me on this.
- PopcornDave, on 05/09/2008, -6/+31You dare FOX to be more biased when they're handed a silly story like this? Code Pink is in a desperate attempt to drum up publicity because focus on the war has been lost amidst the daily soap opera of All My Delegates. Silliness wins over substance in the news, didn't you know that by now?
- ColonelJessup, on 05/09/2008, -2/+5Dugg for "All My Delegates"
- Qong, on 05/09/2008, -6/+31Are you insinuating that the war in Iraq is the reason that our economy isn't growing at a huge rate and why gas prices are higher than normal?
How exactly did you come to the conclusion that Iraq has hurt our housing and credit markets, and has increased the demand for Oil?
You clearly live in outer space. Those reasons above are the key reasons behind the problems that you have listed. Not the war in Iraq. Try again.- MoofTheStoof, on 05/09/2008, -10/+4Well, spending a couple billion dollars a month and thousands of young men and women either injured or dead on a pointless, unprovoked invasion and occupation isn't exactly helping, is it?
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -9/+5So running the country into a multi-trillion dollar deficit is good for the economy now? Oh and war is peace too, right?
- rjwusa, on 05/09/2008, -10/+34"...A horrible economy and $4.00 gas still aren't enough to convince even the most close minded conservatives?..."
Then let's place wind farms of the coast of the Kennedy place for a start. Then we can drill off the east and west cost, and the ANWR, and all points in between, Lastly, let the 'closed minded' republicans kick your brethren liberals off the welfare rolls to get real jobs the Mexican illegals are doing, and we can fix the economy.- IconoclastStill, on 05/09/2008, -7/+20BINGO !!!
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -8/+2Okkay, rjwusa, you can lead. Go out in the fields and work for less than minimum wage. Complain about it, file lawsuits, and get your pay raise. Then watch the rest of the country pay more for food because we aren't hiring illegals to do the work anymore.
I'm not saying it's the right way, but you can't just fix the problem that easily. Use your ***** head.- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -1/+10You see the difference is that I've DONE that. When I was a teenager I got out in the field and chopped weeds out of acres of a farmer's cotton crops. I went to school(public), payed(and am still paying) for a good education at a public university, took a job at wal-mart to make ends meet, got a better job after college worked my way up from entry level to Sr. FW engineer.
The moral of the story is "Get off your ass, and work hard". I've been working since I was 15, and I've never been fired from a job. I've worked my ass off all my life and now I'm seeing benefits.
Now, we do need welfare. But it needs to be a safety net, not a way of life. - FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -5/+1You know, most of the people who I see on welfare are God-fearing, conservative, trailer-trash rednecks. Not liberals. Not by a long shot.
- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5Funny, every one I saw was telling me I owe them their welfare because their great, great grandparents MIGHT have been slaves. And in the town where I grew up, if you weren't running as a democrat, you had no chance.

- TheZorch, on 05/09/2008, -1/+7Burning a witch at the stake or even killing someone in the name of Jesus Christ goes against everything the scriptures of the Bible stand for. Any Christian or Catholic who condones the death of non-believers or so called heathens and pagans isn't a True Christian at all. The same goes for those God Hates Fags wackos, they can't true believers either.
- AniceAtheist, on 05/09/2008, -3/+1yeah well to bad for you you don't get to judge who a "true" christian is. since christianity is a title one gets to put on when one wants and everyone acts how they would always act title or no title. Either everyone who calls themselves a christian is a True christian or there is no such thing. Until you start passing out licenses to be a christian you gonna have to come to terms with the fact that your title is meaningless. people will be good and will be bad regardless of your title.
- 4wheel, on 05/09/2008, -4/+18Wow. That was really......dumb.

It is extremely disrespectful to protest a Marine recruitment center, especially in the ways that they have been protesting. It really boggles my mind.- rcnevada, on 05/09/2008, -3/+30The folks running the recruitment center say that these loonies are the finest advertising they've ever had.
- alanhlake, on 05/09/2008, -4/+26Respect? I don't think the word exists in Code Pink's vocabulary!
- paidhima, on 05/09/2008, -12/+5Since when has activism ever been respectful? If you could be respectful and still get people to listen to what you're saying, you wouldn't need to be an activist in the first place.
I would also ask why you feel that it is disrespectful?- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8Sit ins are respectful.
Peaceful marching protests are respectful.
Letter writing campaigns are respectful.
I seem to remember that not long ago those seemed to work well.- paidhima, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2I was responding more to the comment that protesting the recruitment center was disrespectful, not necessarily the manner in which they protested. There's a big difference between your definition of respect and the definition as illustrated by the previous comment. I agree that protest can be done the wrong way, but I just don't see what was wrong with this. To make people sit up and take notice, sometimes you have to shock them. To that end, they were successful.
- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5The reason its disrespectful is because they are protesting against the wrong entity. And if they are trying to get the marines to not follow orders because it suits their political agenda of ending the Iraq war, that's disrespectful to the entire Corp.
- paidhima, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1They disagree with the Iraq war strongly enough to protest it. They chose to protest a location that recruits people into a military that is participating in the Iraq war.
- paidhima, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2I was responding more to the comment that protesting the recruitment center was disrespectful, not necessarily the manner in which they protested. - Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1I feel that the way they are protesting is disrespectful honestly. These are people that put fake blood on the windows and on the ground there, other random and offensive things like that.
Protesting in itself is certainly not disrespectful, but verballing assaulting the Marines working inside, as well as the people that go into the recruitment center, those things are disrespectful.
- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8Sit ins are respectful.
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -12/+9Not that I side with Code Pink on this one, but how is it disrespectful? A marine's life is cast into disrespect not when his war is protested, but when he is irresponsibly asked to fight in a frivolous war.
- thcobbs, on 05/09/2008, -1/+7Basically, they are asking the marines to mutiny and not follow lawful orders. Seems to me that's very disrespectful of a Marine.
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2They are verballing assaulting the Marines working in the center, as well as people that enter the center on a daily basis. They stage theatrical events with fake blood, and now comedic witchcraft.
Their entire show is disrespectful for Berkeley, the State of California, the Marine Corps. and the United States of America.
Protest all you want, but the leave the ignorance and insults to your private residence or you will be verbally assaulted in retaliation of said ignorance.
- rjwusa, on 05/09/2008, -21/+16Let us rebuke these witches in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray they find His saving grace. That ought to out a knot in their chonies!

- TheZorch, on 05/09/2008, -3/+6You obviously haven't read the Bible. You tell them of the salvation of Jesus and if they don't listen then ignore them and let God sort them out. The problem with so called Born Again Christians today is that they don't know Jack about the scriptures they quote all the time.
Also, on the subject of scripture, anyone who has read the Book of Revelations objectively and doesn't try to interject anything into it (like the church does today) they'll clearly see that there is absolutely NO RAPTURE! Nowhere in the Bible does God give anyone a free ride or a quick escape from troubles. No my friends, the Believers will live through the tribulations which are supposed to come, they will not be taken away to safety. There are countless examples of this throughout the Bible. The Book of Jobe is perhaps the best example of this. Ok, that ends my rant.- darkcooger, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5It's spelled "Job."

- LifeguardMom, on 05/09/2008, -12/+41These women are an embarrassment. It's one thing to protest the war, but to resort to witchcraft? What's next, voodoo dolls? One quote said "women are coming to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we're going to end war".

- drlha, on 05/09/2008, -6/+4Its impossible to "resort to witchcraft" because witchcraft isn't a real thing. - 10QGZus, on 05/09/2008, -12/+41On Tuesday, Code Pink's theme was "Fierce mothers raging against war".
Aren't they supposed to be protesting for peace? How can fierce, raging mothers promote peace?
This would be so funny and laughable if it weren't so tragic. These women are doing more to harm their cause than promote it.- mustangmike53, on 05/09/2008, -6/+21The vast majority of liberals and other denizens of the left have an extreme irony deficiency.
- alanhlake, on 05/09/2008, -1/+17The "cause" of Code Pink is to enable themselves to express their emotions. Nothing more.
- Jake81499, on 05/09/2008, -4/+9The next war will be here. Let's see their emotions then!
Ever watch the movie Zardoz? At the end all the pinkos were running around asking to be killed, "Shoot Me Please????" It'll be about the same. A field day of free rape and murder by the enemy to the point where the enemy says 'This is too easy..'
- Jake81499, on 05/09/2008, -4/+9The next war will be here. Let's see their emotions then!
- paidhima, on 05/09/2008, -7/+2Of the several definitions* of "fierce" the one that would apply might be "marked by extreme intensity of emotions or convictions." Fervid is a good synonym. Of the several definitions* of "rage" the one that would apply might be "feel intense anger," as in "rage against the dying of the light." I hardly think Dylan Thomas was literally flailing away at a light source.
One would think a Christian would at least recognize figurative language.

- RealmDown, on 05/09/2008, -2/+7"Free speech is for people who know how to speak not demonstrate."
Excellent. - paidhima, on 05/09/2008, -3/+5The first amendment states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Well, that amendment pretty much sums up the entirety of that protest: Freedom of and from religion (regardless of how your closed little mind feels about it), freedom of speech, right to assemble and petition the government.- RealmDown, on 05/09/2008, -2/+8Correct recitation of the First Amendment (the rest of your comment is inflammatory drivel). And I would not advise making these comments to any Marine, whether active duty or inactive, particularly in the absence of good medical and dental insurance. - Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4That is pure ignorance and extremely disrespectful on your part.

Sorry, but first, you really need to do some reading. The direct ideological antithesis of Fascism is Liberalism.

:( - DiggerUpper, on 05/09/2008, -3/+3Code Pink - Fox News = 0
- DiggerUpper, on 05/10/2008, -2/+1If you treat them as a system of equations.
- blitzkriegpunk, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9But, I can't.... Those aren't numbers.
- evo8ftw, on 05/09/2008, -17/+9Too bad they weren't in Salem
- evo8ftw, on 05/09/2008, -3/+5no surprise with todays education that no one gets this.
- AniceAtheist, on 05/09/2008, -5/+5we get it. What you don't seem to get it, is that with todays education we don't believe in superstitious mumbo-jumbo anymore. so Salem has become a dark and sad part of history where many regular women died because of religious stupidity. Your idea of a joke is basically saying that they should be killed horribly by misguided idiots. not that funny and therefore down modded
- evo8ftw, on 05/09/2008, -2/+4wow that was like 300 years ago. Oh never mind i bet you feel it in your genetic dna sorry forgot about genetic dna
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3Agreed. That wasn't very funny. These women don't deserve death, they simply deserve to be derided for their ignorance.
- Wonderama, on 05/09/2008, -12/+13Berkeley really needs to secede from the Union.
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -29/+29Oh how cute, you all got your own little conservative ghetto on Digg where you get together and make fun of a few activists and then pretend that they are representative of all Democrats. Isn't that just precious.
- MrFurious2k, on 05/09/2008, -10/+26I suppose they could sit around and masturbate furiously to Obama's picture, but there is a crowd already doing that on Digg.
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -3/+11Gotta find your niche, man. I hear ya.
So, who do you think would win in a fight between Code Pink and Westboro Baptist Church?- MrFurious2k, on 05/09/2008, -1/+15Dunno - but I'd pay money to see that fight. I'd set up a concession stand and everything.
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -1/+12God bless America. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that we like concessions.
- RealmDown, on 05/09/2008, -0/+10I don't know, but I am sure willing to supply arms to both sides to find out.
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1Haha, you guys are hilarious. I'm sad that I buried wendelgee2's original comment now...
- dafunkmonster, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure the more accurate term would be "fap".
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -3/+11Gotta find your niche, man. I hear ya.
- blitzkriegpunk, on 05/09/2008, -3/+4Why didn't anybody tell me there was a crowd for that? I've been doing it all by my lonesome. :(
- exgop, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6Many Democrats have contempt for the military. Bill Clinton even wrote "He and his friends loathe the miltary"
- MrFurious2k, on 05/09/2008, -10/+26I suppose they could sit around and masturbate furiously to Obama's picture, but there is a crowd already doing that on Digg.
- cadmiumpaint, on 05/09/2008, -21/+13I might believe it if a legitimate news group reported it. Fox news has no journalistic integrity.
- Papajohn56, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8much like your posting
- cadmiumpaint, on 05/09/2008, -9/+1you're a mindless idiot. i hope you enjoy your daily fox news propaganda. try thinking for yourself once in a while. you might like it.
- exgop, on 05/09/2008, -2/+7Just like the propaganda of the Daily Kos or Hthe Huffington Post or NBC CBS or NBC?
- cadmiumpaint, on 05/09/2008, -9/+1you're a mindless idiot. i hope you enjoy your daily fox news propaganda. try thinking for yourself once in a while. you might like it.
- Papajohn56, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8much like your posting
- yellowcakewalk, on 05/09/2008, -28/+24How's that circle jerk going, BushBots? Do any of you care about real issues? Do any of you remember the Pat Tillman lies? Do any of you remember the Jessica Lynch lies? Do any of you remember the Colin Powell at the UN lies? Do any of you remember the Douglas Feith and the Office of Special Plans lies? Anybody remember the Downing Street Memos? It takes a very special skill in self-delusion to focus in on CODEPINK and be distracted away from the mountain of lies that you must embrace every single day.
- The_Red_Monkey, on 05/09/2008, -10/+17Yeah I remember the UN lies, the food for oil scam that was not discussed in the liberal media and one of the biggest money scandals out there. I remember the apartment for the head of the UN being given to his brother to kick it in. The mountain of lies is that we are bad and the military is bad. Guess what you *****, if it was not for our military it would be a Fascist Nazi Europe right now. England would be gone. We would be getting bombarded by wackado terrorists everyday.
Be grateful that you can protest here, if you lived in any of the countries we have fought they would kill you for doing so.
You also have short term memory problems, the Clintons are the kings and queens of lying and hiding information and lying about their financial dealing. They went into Kosovo and no one complained.
We have lost fewer men and women in this war than any in the past to end a regime that murdered two million Kurds by sending bombs with poison gas just to test them out. How is that not mass destruction, how is that a safe regime. I guess you do not think that freedom is good enough for the brown people. Let's whitewash them up a bit for ya!
And for wendelgee2, making fun of a little group of activists. Turn about is fair play. You morons constantly use the minority of conservatives to lay claims to them all so how bout you STFU as well.
More than just Fox is covering this too you reactionary pricks. Its been on all the major services, its not something evil Fox News made up.- Cerebron, on 05/09/2008, -5/+2I'm pretty sure there a lot of Brits that would disagree about losing their country if left to their own devices.
- IconoclastStill, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4But they would be wrong. Without Lend-Lease, the Brits would have been trying to repel an invasion force with pitchforks and swords. Their spirit was indomitable (as exemplified by Churchill), but they were grievously short of material. Next to the Finns, the Brits showed the most courage of any of the belligerents, but you cannot defeat paratroopers with clubs.
- AniceAtheist, on 05/09/2008, -5/+1You almost got me there. You just tried to rationalize the war in Iraq by saying it brought freedom from the boogieman of saddam and those that are opposed are racist. Wow nice try there smart ass. How about you pull the ***** out of iraq and start sending your troops into Somalia, Liberia, Myanmar. How about those countries where more people have died then in iraq. If your in Iraq to save the "brown people" I have some Darker people you can go save. but you won't. So your reasons are bogus.
Also yes people complained about Kosovo. I'm ***** complaining about it now. I lived in Sarajevo working for nato from 2003-2005 and no your jackass of a president shouldn't have bombed it either. Stay the hell out of other peoples affairs. brown, white or purple. Your country never does anything from a moral standpoint, you just do things to benefit yourselves no matter how many others are harmed along the way, then you whitewash your atrocities and have the retarded arguments over witchcraft.
- Cerebron, on 05/09/2008, -5/+2I'm pretty sure there a lot of Brits that would disagree about losing their country if left to their own devices.
- ilrak, on 05/09/2008, -12/+5WORD! Reading this article reminded me how ridiculously obvious Fox News' agenda is.
- exgop, on 05/09/2008, -2/+3Waste of oxygen you are
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -9/+4Of course they don't - they'll gather around the most pathetic thing they can find and beat the ***** out of it, and then forget about all the serious stuff. Who cares if we're fighting an unjust war? Who cares if the economy is *****? Let's keep electing Republicans. You know, the moral, fiscally responsible types?
- jimjacks, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8I remember 911. I remember American Soldiers heads being cut off by animals. I remember hundreds of thousands being gassed by the leader of a country. I remember a country invading another. I remember the thousands of extremists that speak of how our civilization here in America is inherently evil and would destroy us if they had the chance. I am democrat supporter but not a military hater. Codepink should use there energy where it is needed: sending cookies to our soldiers.
- exgop, on 05/09/2008, -2/+5SHHHH dont tell them facts
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2What exactly does any of that have to do with this specific article? Oh, that's right, nothing at all. Please, continue attacking large groups of people for absolutely no reason with a completely bogus argument, it's working well for you.
- dafunkmonster, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1In the same vein, it takes a "very special skill in self-delusion" to believe that the left wing is incapable of scandal and propaganda.
- Bajayjay, on 05/09/2008, -19/+11Whatever it takes. Go girls. Save the men from George Bush's ego.
- papipablo, on 05/09/2008, -13/+20Witchcraft is almost as big a lie as our reason for being in Iraq.
- urza, on 05/09/2008, -5/+2So True and part of the problem..............
- GhostyBoy, on 05/09/2008, -6/+2The war on terror is built on a foundation of lies.
- ssn697, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5This isn't an original thought, but America is a "War on" country, and has been for decades now
War on Drugs
War on Poverty
War on Obesity
There are many more, but you get my drift. We LOVE the whole "War" thing.
- ssn697, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5This isn't an original thought, but America is a "War on" country, and has been for decades now
- MrFurious2k, on 05/09/2008, -12/+7Don't they mean, "code pinko"?
- headzoo, on 05/09/2008, -7/+23Clip from The Daily Show about the Berkley protests: http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?vide ...
The best is at 4:45, the protester wishing there was a group in America that was dedicated to protecting free speech (Hint: It's the Marines they're protesting).- pablo0713, on 05/09/2008, -18/+4The last time the Marines supposedly protected free speech was during WWII. Ever since then, The Marines should be called the Murder Corp.
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -4/+9The president sets the mission. Put the blame where it belongs.
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -6/+12actually...the group in America dedicated to protecting free speech is the ACLU. Remember the whole Larry Flynt trial? Just saying. They both have a role in protecting us from ourselves and others.
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -10/+3But these conservative nut-jobs think the only way to preserve free speech is to slaughter brown people. They hate the ACLU, remember?
- headzoo, on 05/09/2008, -0/+9And who protects the freedoms of the ACLU?
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -3/+5Batman.
- BesideYouInTime, on 05/09/2008, -8/+3I sure am glad the marines are off protecting my freedom of speech in ***** Iraq!
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2That was hilarious, thanks for the link.
It really is surprising to me that such a large group of people could be so utterly insane, right here in the United States. You could tell from the video there that those women really have their heads on straight; I mean, from their brilliant arguments and amazing demonstrations, even Gandhi and MLK would be proud of them...
- pablo0713, on 05/09/2008, -18/+4The last time the Marines supposedly protected free speech was during WWII. Ever since then, The Marines should be called the Murder Corp.
- StreetPreacher, on 05/09/2008, -18/+13First of all, I'm pretty sure they're doing it toungue-in-cheek. But of course Faux News has no sense of humor, esp. when it comes to anything Anti-Bush or non-Christian.
But even if they're for real, please explain to me how this is any different than invoking a prayer to a Christian (or any other) god during a political event? I mean, asking your imaginary friends for help is crazy, no matter WHO you claim those friends to be. - prleet, on 05/09/2008, -10/+19The moral of the story is, "no matter how deep in ***** the Marines are in, Marines always take the worst situation and make the best out of it and win...in this case, they got more recruits."
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -11/+3Thanks for the propaganda speech, prleet.
- prleet, on 05/09/2008, -3/+10You are welcome......and any time civilian!
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -11/+3Thanks for the propaganda speech, prleet.
- NCSUspoon, on 05/09/2008, -17/+19They reported, I decided never to believe anything from Fox News
- GhostyBoy, on 05/09/2008, -5/+2Yeah, I kind of have to go with that at this point.
It's not that they can't report anything, it's just that their track record is laughable at best. If it's important then you might as well just wait for a real news outlet to cover it. - dafunkmonster, on 05/11/2008, -1/+1That's pretty ignorant of you.
- GhostyBoy, on 05/09/2008, -5/+2Yeah, I kind of have to go with that at this point.
- Dagor38, on 05/09/2008, -14/+1Its a good thing to protest against the marines, but witchcraft .... -_-;;
I guess some of these protesters really should see a doctor. - Zenham, on 05/09/2008, -13/+14Gosh, how silly, why can't these loons praying to OUR pretend Magical Sky Pixie to end the war instead.
- bonds, on 05/09/2008, -8/+17At their next rally, they're going to try a rain dance. Bring your umbrellas!!
- prleet, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2lmao, you remind of the ancient tribe in Germany who use to dance naked around large trees....i guess cause they had woodies!
- pablo0713, on 05/09/2008, -11/+11Oh those silly goth/emo wiccans! Give it up already! If there was truly magic, you people would already be ruling the world. Now, STFU, wipe off your make-up and do something positive for society like trashing your sticker riddled 1978 Pinto.
- jimjacks, on 05/09/2008, -7/+17The Marines work in worst environments in the world with people firing at them in all directions. I don't think they are going to be fazed by a few women in pink acting childish. Get a grip ladies, if it were not for the Marines and the rest of our arm forces you wouldn't be able to wear your ridiculous outfits and say what you want.
- yellowcakewalk, on 05/09/2008, -10/+3If they weren't running amok in other countries, they would not have the residents of those countries shooting at them.
- prleet, on 05/09/2008, -2/+8Hey buddy, running amok?..have you been in the military?
- V3n0M, on 05/09/2008, -7/+3I'm not your buddy, pal!
- e36wheelman, on 05/09/2008, -3/+4I'm not your pal, guy!
- grunt1st69, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4Running Amok? Don't think so. And when you get the balls to serve your country and take your foot out of your butt and in the boots of the men and women in the military then shut up yellowcake cause you don't know what you are talking about.
- prleet, on 05/09/2008, -2/+8Hey buddy, running amok?..have you been in the military?
- yellowcakewalk, on 05/09/2008, -10/+3If they weren't running amok in other countries, they would not have the residents of those countries shooting at them.
- Picaroon, on 05/09/2008, -4/+20"If only there was an organization that was sworn to defend that free speech." -Rob Riggle
- robotsound, on 05/09/2008, -7/+9what the code pink witches don't get is that the commander in chief and VP are adepts that are already in control of the forces of satan. this war is part of their blood sacrifice. even they should see that appealing to the dark side to stop a dark war is going to be useless. duh.
- mike17032, on 05/09/2008, -13/+16Its ***** Berkley, why are you shocked? Its the libtards mecca. I am glad too, the more we get in one place the easier it will be to get them on the trains and to the camps when The Day comes.
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -8/+5"Libtards?" Wow. And people wonder why the USA is so, so *****. It's because assholes like you don't understand that it takes all sorts of people to make the world work, and that the typical Republican / conservative attitude of "my way or the highway" doesn't get anyone anywhere.
- methos75, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Libs also believe in the my way or the high way BS as well, don't just blame one side, its pretty pathetic.
- Qong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2That is hypocrisy at its finest. I fully agree with methos75's comment, Liberals feel the exact same way, and generally act about 50 times worse. Code Pink being a primed and perfect example.
- AniceAtheist, on 05/09/2008, -4/+1Hey Mike your comments are not conservative comments. They aren't even on the political spectrum. You're a Psychopath and a Sadist. this isn't an ad hominim attack since your comment is the embodiment of what your reality allows you to be. You seriously would feel elation when people who think differently then you are all rounded up and put on trains to "camps" I'm not invoking Godwins law here I'm rising above it to wonder if you have already been to jail yet? how violent are you normally? Do you like eating kittens? If you name Uday?
- FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -8/+5"Libtards?" Wow. And people wonder why the USA is so, so *****. - skyking3525, on 05/09/2008, -10/+12I walk by them almost daily during my morning commute. They are merely uninformed fear mongers who are desperate for attention.
Thanks FOXnews for giving them attention. Now please stop.- V3n0M, on 05/09/2008, -7/+4LOL! That's the first time I've seen someone use "fear monger" and "Fox News" in the same comment without calling one the other. And you did it with a straight face! Priceless!
- thawkth, on 05/09/2008, -15/+8Wow. The ignorance is always shocking.
First of all, to a pagan, a spell is just a modified prayer of sorts. How is this any crazier than a church full of people speaking in unison and bowing their heads?
Second, protesting a recruitment center is suddenly a bad thing? WTF? How many posts on this page decry these women and ask for things like their ability to vote and/or their freedom of speach to be suspended?
We live in a truly sad society.
We're losing our chance to change things for the better, turn things around - but nobody cares. They'd rather yell at people for their political and religious beliefs while we "spread democracy around the world" -
Guess what? If that's your democracy, nobody wants it. - FredFredrickson, on 05/09/2008, -17/+8Whatever legitimacy their cause had just went flying out the window.
I'm still burying this though, because it's from Fox "News."- moolaismyfriend, on 05/09/2008, -12/+4It's not legitimate. Fox news has a personal grudge against Code pink.
- DreadPirate, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6Just like you have zero legitimacy because of your personal grudge against any and all conservatives here on digg?
- moolaismyfriend, on 05/09/2008, -12/+4It's not legitimate. Fox news has a personal grudge against Code pink.
- moolaismyfriend, on 05/09/2008, -27/+17What is the ***** doing on the front page. ***** Fox News
- moolaismyfriend, on 05/09/2008, -18/+2***** republicans as well they hate our troops.
- Kythas, on 05/09/2008, -1/+16Really? I'm Republican and am a combat veteran. I have many friends who are current or former military. I have given my sweat and blood in defense of my country and for my fellow soldiers. I've given my money to groups such as the Wounded Warrior Project and donated my time to veteran's causes. I've welcomed troops home from Iraq in the DFW airport.
How, exactly, does that express my hate for our troops? What have you done to show your love and support for our troops?- scrotumbrau, on 05/09/2008, -1/+11He says stuff on the Internet...
- GhostyBoy, on 05/09/2008, -2/+11Morons love to make generic statements.
There is not one single statement you can make about Republicans or any other group that is universally true across the board. Everyone is individual.
- Kythas, on 05/09/2008, -1/+16Really? I'm Republican and am a combat veteran. I have many friends who are current or former military. - BevansDesign, on 05/09/2008, -5/+8Wow, how do the Fox News crazies get their own comments in so much quicker than the usual Digg people?
Anyway, I auto-bury anything from Faux News as Inaccurate.- moolaismyfriend, on 05/09/2008, -2/+4I don't think there is any NASCAR on boob tube today.
