- Stevenator, on 09/09/2008, -3/+379moochcat: joined....TODAY. Only action on digg: question a story critical of scientology.
Looks: like scientologist
Acts: like sceintologist (a CCHR scientologist, to be exact)
Smells: like fraud, greed, and brainwashing
Conclusion: scientologist. - inactive, on 09/09/2008, -4/+303Please let this be the start of the end of these *****...
- dvsbastard, on 09/09/2008, -0/+206Careful moochcat... Your thetan is showing...

- Stevenator, on 09/09/2008, -1/+178Ok, I just got done writing this in another story, so I'm just gonna paste it...
In regards to moochcat, who did NOT deny being a scientologist:
Allow me to state (yet again) what clearly is not sinking in for many....
Scientologists (yes, even cuddly ones), are the most prolific liars on earth. They are trained to lie by the "church" and there is no group of people on the earth more skilled at it. The false prophet/con-man/brainwashing criminal L. Ron Hubbard has them convinced that they may lie about *anything* because they are "the last slim hope this universe has." And that's direct from L Fraud Hubbard himself.
EVERY government, organization, religion, etc that has followed the "ends justify the means" theory has been a threat to freedom and human rights... - stutimandal, on 09/08/2008, -3/+120Nice news.
- inactive, on 09/09/2008, -0/+115And as he drives by the courtroom, he knows that he has to do something because he's the only one who can help. He whips out his thetan laser and... it does absolutely nothing.
- NinjaGod, on 09/08/2008, -2/+113Book 'em, before they fly away.
- Stevenator, on 09/09/2008, -1/+107From L. Ron Hubbard: "Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown.”
You, my scilon friend, are out-tech...and since you almost certainly know this already, you are also out-ethics.
EDIT: And you are an "ethics specialist?!!?" The scilons are far worse off than even I had imagined. - DrVoltron, on 09/09/2008, -0/+72FTA: "The charges, which also include claims of illegally prescribing drugs, were filed by a woman who complained that the Scientologists had allegedly brought about her financial ruin. "
Charges of illegally prescribing drugs. Sounds logical to me. If I was an association interested in preserving the good name of medicine, I would sue a crackpot cult illegally prescribing drugs in the name of religion.
And no, Scientologists can comment. However, we are going to criticize your beliefs. Especially in an article about your 'church'. - IHaveIssues, on 09/09/2008, -0/+69LOL! He used his real name in his profile!
A quick google finds: http://www.truthaboutscientology.com/stats/by-name ... - absurdist, on 09/09/2008, -2/+65Vive l'Anonyme!!!
- prisoner24601, on 09/09/2008, -0/+62Wow, wouldn't that be just ASTOUNDING to have a real live Scientologist with enough guts to actually defend their beliefs here? I'd love nothing more than to actually see that since the entire "religion" has demonstrated flawless cowardice since Anonymous started things months ago.
I've had debates/discussions with Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, you name it. The Scientologists are the only group that lacks even ONE SINGLE PERSON with the courage to answer even the most basic questions about what they believe in an open forum.
I've said this over and over again on these threads. Even in a forum where they can debate in total anonymity, there isn't even ONE of them that will try. How can anyone doubt the utter intellectual bankruptcy of Scientology? It is the absolute epitome of ignorant and unreasoned belief.
Scientology, I dare you, I beg you, I DEFY you to bring out even ONE of your followers who will post here on the basics of what you believe! Stand and deliver if you are a man! (Or a woman with some guts for that matter.) Speak for yourself! Don't call your lawyer! Don't cower behind a celebrity spokesman talking head! Is there not ONE of you who has even a bare notion of intellectual honesty? - IAmRoot, on 09/09/2008, -0/+60"I do however dislike the tendency in society today to blame everyone and sue."
Um. We're talking about the Cult of Scientology. You know they're one of the most sue-happy corporations, right? They sue anybody who speaks out against them and has been known to get protesters charged with terrorism for demonstrating peacefully. Check your facts. - CCB0x45, on 09/09/2008, -0/+57Moochat, why did you say in the other thread that you were not an active member?
- DrVoltron, on 09/09/2008, -0/+56FTA: "The charges, which also include claims of illegally prescribing drugs, were filed by a woman who complained that the Scientologists had allegedly brought about her financial ruin. "

- Arcarsenal, on 09/09/2008, -1/+48Give back Beck you bastards!
- DrVoltron, on 09/09/2008, -1/+46FTA: "The case has taken ten years to come to court."
Wow. Talk about legal delay games. I wonder how long until a verdict - DrVoltron, on 09/09/2008, -0/+43Good job checking his profile.
- zephyear, on 09/09/2008, -5/+46france's secular culture rules
- Berkana, on 09/09/2008, -3/+44Good luck getting that through court; the CoS's French equivalent of "Operation Snow White" succeeded:
http://digg.com/world_news/Scientology_Above_the_l ...
Their operatives infiltrated the French court system a while back, and every case filed against them mysteriously got bogged down; documents would disappear, offices would get broken into, etc. As of the publication of the above video, no case against the CoS had ever successfully gone to trial.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_snow_white - brianjlowry, on 09/09/2008, -1/+40I think it is Tom Cruise himself.
- br0ck, on 09/09/2008, -0/+39I'm fairly certain that elliam was actually making a joke about that guy that kept giving two Scientologists great arguments and they just kept answering with 'what are your crimes' and 'are you a molester'. Here's the video if you haven't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPol_m8wm8Y
- rebotfc, on 09/09/2008, -6/+44By the way diggers, please note above you have the scifag apologists in these comments trying to equate Scientology to Christianity / other religions.
The fact is christianity, judaism , islam or buddhism for that matter do not, as a matter of central policy, practice disconnection from families, extortion of wealth, bribery, secrecy or lawsuits to further their revenue collection.
Whilst you may agree that all religions are nonsense scientology this has nothing to do with scientology's purpose of brainwashing and extorting money from people. - waydee, on 09/09/2008, -0/+37I think Xenu would be glad to hear of this news - Scientology is the sworn enemy of Xenu trying to undo the damage he caused.
Right? - DrVoltron, on 09/09/2008, -0/+35FTA: "The charges, which also include claims of illegally prescribing drugs, were filed by a woman who complained that the Scientologists had allegedly brought about her financial ruin. "

- NSResponder, on 09/09/2008, -0/+34Say there, clambot: since your criminal nut-cult is letting you use an internet connection, take a look at clambake.org, and find out all the crap that the cult won't tell you until you've forked over a quarter of a million bucks. The space opera is hilarious.
-jcr - Murrabbit, on 09/09/2008, -1/+35My hat goes off to the French. They've got something on the ball.
- langdonalger, on 09/09/2008, -0/+33pardon? did you not notice the subject of the article is the church being tried for organised fraud? what exactly does that have to do with anyone's beliefs?
- sadhesati, on 09/09/2008, -0/+31Do you even know the retarded beliefs that scientologists have and how ridiculously unscientific it is?
It's a set of beliefs made up by a science fiction writer, who even said himself that he wanted to make his own religion just to make money. It's *****. They believe in an evil alien named Xenu. Come on now.
Anyone dumb enough to follow a jackass like that deserves to be mocked. I don't like religion in general, so I'm not saying this with a pro-Christian/pro-god bias.
It's a cult. It ruins people's lives. It takes away their money, their time, and families if they don't believe in scientology. They brainwash people. It's a scam. They're is nothing more rational or scientific about it than Christianity or any other religion. - Uchikoma, on 09/09/2008, -0/+31There is a difference between going to University, getting a degree and failing to get a great (great paying also for most people) job and this current situation.
The University does not promise that you'll get a great job. It promises you an education for the money you pay and at the end of your years there, you'll get your degree, whatever it may be. This degree and the knowledge you learn is used to HELP in getting a job, but it doesn't give you guarantees either. But like I said earlier, the University never promised you that you'd get that dream, high paying job.
Now, in this case, illegally prescribing drugs/treatment schemes for money with the promise of fixing a particular ailment/problem, and which ends up not being the correct drugs/treatment for the job is a great deal more harmful in the short term and also does not do anything for the patients health (or it could have a negative reaction on the patients health). But the primary point here is that the patient paid money for an expected service but did not receive what was promised. That, moochcat, is fraud.
You can liken it to those banking schemes where you send money to help transfer $1,000,000 somewhere and you get a portion of it. If you ever did send your money, do you get your portion? Heck no. Someone else in the world is laughing at your stupidity and spending the money you sent them. See the logic yet? - manacubus, on 09/09/2008, -10/+40Xenu's gonna be pissed!
- inactive, on 09/09/2008, -2/+32First you need to get on topic.
Second you need to get laid. - AeonTorpor, on 09/09/2008, -0/+29He get's arrested for pulling out his "thetan laser" in public.
- lfrankow, on 09/09/2008, -0/+29Thank Xenu there's an Internet.
LOL
Nice work, Stevenator! - dmightx, on 09/21/2008, -0/+28Why sue the roman catholic church?
I know people who go to church every sunday and give NO money whatsoever. - DaBee, on 09/09/2008, -0/+25Looks like $#!+, smells like $#!+, tastes like $#!+, good thing we didn't step in it.
- langdonalger, on 09/09/2008, -0/+24he deserves criticism for being a member of a criminal organization, just as any member of the mob would.
- sadhesati, on 09/09/2008, -4/+28I vandalized the scientology center in Pittsburgh. And yeah, I'm proud of it.
- bphicke, on 09/09/2008, -1/+24What does Alex Jones have to do with Scientology?
- CressCrowbits, on 09/09/2008, -2/+25No other religion inherently states that spiritual elightenment can only be acheived through large and regular payments.
No other religion insists on you taking dangerous 'medication' which you have to pay for.
No other religion insists on you cutting out any friends and family who aren't part of the religion from your lives.
No other religion (currently) persucutes those who attempt to practice it outside of the main, controlling organsiation.
No other religion attempts to sue those who duplicate it's material.
Primarily, Scientology ISN'T a religion. Don't try to legitimise Scientology by claiming it's no worse than any other religion. - Webnower, on 09/09/2008, -1/+23About ***** time.
- PEteandPEte, on 09/09/2008, -2/+24im scared to even walk passed the scientology center in SLC:(
- CressCrowbits, on 09/09/2008, -0/+22Nice one!
- Azerael, on 09/09/2008, -3/+25'Faith' is what got her into the mess. Faith runs counter to intelligence.
