Let me be the first to tell you that not all Baptists are like this, only a very small fraction of Baptists believe that dancing "plants a seed of rebellion" (and most of them are over the age of 80, or from this Ohio school). Things like this create more work for me to do in convincing non-believers that Christians aren't fundamentalist/right wing/radical jerks.

My thoughts- the kid did sign the agreement, but the rules apply to the school, not what he does after hours.

Just because you've decided to deny yourself any joy out of life doesn't mean you have to destroy the happiness of children, you bitter, soulless, horror of a human being. Children are meant to be children, to explore life and find their own joy in it, and you've demanded that they not be children, that they be good little automata who never act out of turn in any way. They teach children that to act as children is evil and in doing so crush their self confidence and creativity, it takes people years to recover from this kind of abuse, if indeed they are ever able to recover.

Of course, the kids were writing "KISS" on every building wall after that. LOL.
