- jamen72, on 06/29/2008, -0/+0I don't fully understand your comment, so I apologize if it is taken out of context... It doesn't make much sense. But it does seem like you have a snotty or jokey tone that some how implies that the victims are stupid for living "at place called 'Lakeview' on Ravenswood??"
And as one of the residents of this building, who has friends and neighbors in the building who have lost much if not everything, who's two dogs were rescued by the Chicago FD, who has all of their belongings damaged by fire, smoke and water, who will be displaced from my home for 4-6 months, I find your rather insensitive, callous and rude. I sense some aspect of a joke in the names of the neighborhood (Lakeview) and the street (Ravenswood). Have some class. It so easy for you to sit on you computer and make jokes, but there are real people on the other end of those stories. I would suggest that you make sure you have some renters or home owners insurance, because you may not realize how quickly and randomly your life may be turned upside down.
