Chavez: Bush belongs in mental asylum
politinks.com — "...A Third World War? With an atom bomb? He said it, with an atom bomb. There would be no more world. The world would end. Humanity would no longer exist …I think he has to be put in an asylum. He has to be put in an asylum...”

- Darph.Bobo, on 11/21/2007, -3/+10Said the pot to the kettle..
- mattewood, on 11/21/2007, -7/+9At least Chavez is popular in his country and not hated throughout the world.
- johndi, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7There is a reason why argumentum ad populum is a fallacy. Many terrible men have been immensely popular with the people. Populism is the legal way to buy votes, and it doesn't cost the politician a dime. All they have to do is sell out their countries' future for a little personal gain. In the long term it will hurt the people who sold their vote to get on the dole.
- CaptA, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1You are a smart man, wise statement johndi... Capt. A.
I would add, VOTING IS the problem - not the solution.

- quakerob, on 11/21/2007, -3/+9He's right. He's just prepared to say what other world leaders have been trying to be diplomatic about.
- CaptA, on 11/21/2007, -5/+10"The pot calling the kettle black." Both of these individuals, et al., -- Chavez, Bush and their cadre should be institutionalized. They're both a scourge on mankind...!
- tehbored, on 11/21/2007, -3/+1I never got that expression. Pot's are usually silver, but kettles can come in many colors.
- moin1097, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4Now. But when the expression was coined they were probably only available in one color. Wrought iron black.

- Frei, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2In these times I think it's to find a world leader who doesn't belong in an insane asylum.
- djvchris, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2Yeah, well, maybe they'll be roommates.
- DarkDx, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2Chavez has to learn that being a President he has to choose his words with care. (however, he was right but that's another business).
- whatthefu, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2Chavez is a moron, and so is Bush. That's all I have to say.
- theinept, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2We could fill up a whole ward with all the current world leaders that belong in a padded room. Bush, Putin, Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Mugabe, Jong-il, al-Bashir, etc.
- sundancekid503, on 11/22/2007, -0/+2I don't think Chavez wants that since half of his popularity is derived from being "anti-Bush". After 2008 watch for Chavez to begin a disparate search for someone else to "oppress" him.
- irvman21, on 11/22/2007, -1/+1We should encourage him to visit Iran as much as possible. We'll be able to take them both out with one bomb and cut the cost in half.
