California Supreme Court overturns gay marriage ban 4-3

news.yahoo.com — The California Supreme Court has overturned a gay marriage ban in a ruling that would make the nation's largest state the second one to allow gay and lesbian weddings.

This world needs more love and I'm proud to be part of a state fighting to recognize that. It's hard not to throw confetti out of happiness for the gays who are one step closer to being given the same rights as straight people!
  • JohnUSeed, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3It's about time! :) Sooner or later, people will realize all gay marriage bans are what they are: a way to discriminate. The same techniques were used against interracial marriages in the 60s.

    (poor gay people had to come here in Canada for it every year).
