" How is this stupid ***** leader of the free world?!?!" - TheTaoOfBill, on 10/11/2007, -4/+31I don't get why this photo shows he is stupid...I mean I don't agree with anything bush does really but umbrellas turn inside out all the time. Especially on windy days.
- mtwoar, on 10/11/2007, -5/+30@ransomowris
How does this make Americans look like stupid, arrogant fools? Looks like the wind just blew his umbrella inside out. I dislike Bush as much as the next person, however I fail to see how a malfunction in his umbrella, whether it be improper usage or the weather makes me look like an arrogant fool. Guess I missed something. - wupike, on 10/11/2007, -4/+26YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG
- idugcoal, on 10/11/2007, -8/+28Nah, he's no comedian, he's just a joke.
- Noctem, on 10/11/2007, -7/+27Wow, a turned out umbrella. Completely hilarious.
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22Well, people out to get bush will take any pot shot they can.
- aikahanyou, on 10/11/2007, -4/+20The look on Putin's face is priceless: "Sigh..."
- foresworn, on 10/11/2007, -3/+18I feel safer already.
- BamaStangGuy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+17Cool so he opens up an Umbrella and the wind takes it inside out. Then everyone on Digg makes fun of him and puts it on the main page as news.
- fuzzmeister, on 10/11/2007, -5/+18Bush provides far too many ridiculous moments for us not to have some fun with him.
- jspegele, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14"This is one of many reasons Americans are looked at as stupid, arrogant fools."
That is an extremely stupid and arrogant statement. Bush opened his umbrella with the wind at his back. How does that make all Americans look stupid and/or arrogant? - Bobd314, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/9124/missiledefenseshieldun1.jpg
“Unfortunately Vlad, this is just a prototype. In real tests we haven’t been able to achieve this level of success.” - hellotyler, on 10/11/2007, -7/+16Wait... his umbrella just got turned out by the air right ? Please god tell me he's didn't actually do that on purpose....
- residentskitz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9this seems to be a recurring problem

Like an inside out umbrella which happens to a lot of people who open an umbrella on a windy day.
- SgtBlue, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8PUT SHOE ON HEAD
- texaspeaks, on 10/11/2007, -10/+17Wow. Such substantive debate of the really important issues going on here.
How juvenile.
Bury me. - combustion8, on 10/11/2007, -6/+11Guess I expect too much.. buried as ultra-lame.
- Fracture98, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Bush at his finest is when he gets his shoes on the right feet.
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4@anonymous
As bill said... I made no such implication. Only your bias overlaid such implications on my words. - penguinshome, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3None, this is just funny.
- GMorgan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4This is dumb. I love bashing Bush as much as the next person but picking on things like this just reduces the impact of the ridicule when he talks.
We need to ask the question. Is our diggers learning? - kenvsryu, on 10/11/2007, -7/+10Is that indoors? Cause the US has already had 7 years of bad luck with GW.
- Mystero39701, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6That is right because every person who has his umbrella turned inside out is an idiot. He does legitimate stupid things. Make fun of him for those.
This article just stupid. - MatthewWilkes, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4"Leader of the free world"
I'm so fed up of that phrase. - EntropyMan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+8Reminds me of a movie I once saw... I knew Bush was an alien!
"G.B. Phone Home. G.B. Phone Home... Ouch..." - fuzzmeister, on 10/11/2007, -6/+8That is Putin's "noob!" face.
- rowlodge, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2there are anti-reverse umbrellas made, which have vents to prevent that, he should get himself one.

Ha ha ha I gave you a thumbs up for "bed wetting, liberal sissies" ... good one.
I have a mental image of you spitting tobacco on the ground out one side of your mouth, while looking at someone groomed and educated saying "looks to me like this here boy's been a sissified, what with all that fancy learnin' and such..." with the banjo music from Deliverance playing in the background.
***** cracker. - bongo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It looks like Putin is thinking that Russian umbrellas are superior to American umbrellas. Mr. President, we cannot allow an umbrella gap!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Sheesh everybody knows that the end of the coldwar was bad for business.
With the "war on terror" exposed as a fraud, we need somebody to take on
the role of our "enemy". Or you know, the military industrial complex might become obsolete and stuff. - Fracture98, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2His right foot, and the right foot of some poor security guy who just happens to be standing near-by.
- skankyBacon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Yes, clearly this never happens to anyone else, and you must be an idiot for this to occur.
You guys really got him this time! /golfclap - Noctem, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Yeah, because the Russians are famous for using the term 'tosser', as well as 'knickers' and 'time for some tea and crumpets'.
- Gigabutt, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2i think this has gone a little too far... the funny part is the description, coupled with the photo, as in: a lighthearted joke.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2All I have to say is I ***** hate that murderous bastard Putin.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1His wife's got massive cankles.
Funny picture though! - withincontext, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Shame on us not wanting our leader to look mentally handicapped. Call it ego, I don't give a *****. It's simply painful to think that he represents us.
Shame on you for not having higher standards, douche. - greenwald, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Mammajamma, I wouldn't mind another place to go, say a dark alley or something, to test your sissy theory. Keep up your desperate attempts to marginalize the growing wave resolve over injustices of the Bush administration, you will wakened with your head under a boot soon.
- rarson, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"This photo is one for the history books." It'll be located under the section "desperate attempts to make Bush look like an idiot when he's not doing it by himself."
Really, people should know better by now. First of all, nobody makes Bush look like an idiot better than himself. And secondly, there's no need to go out of your way to try and stretch a normal situation into a retardism, since he does it so often anyway, it's only a matter of time.
He's an idiot and I hate having him as our president, but I would consider the person making light of this to insult Bush to be a bigger idiot. - sk8ordiemofo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Gimme all you got, commies!!
- withincontext, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Hate to break it to you, but it's not meant to be a primary news source. If you knew that, you'd probably not think it worth commenting on, eh?
- SwellGuy007, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Considering the events and the topics it is pretty funny.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The Troofer convention is THAT-A-WAY.
- dn11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Putin could still totally take Bush in a street fight
- abird, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Dumb.
- withincontext, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Too depressing, not interested in watching the travesty unfold.
"And I'd say...'Vladimir'. Vladimir. Vla, cuz that's what I call him. Vladimir."
*sigh* -
