- 0star, on 10/12/2007, -5/+57When does this level of evil become enough that some people just stop blaming America and realize we are fighting, warts and all, for civilization?
- sabraguy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+54Bury this if you dare, you moonbat bastards.
- SoonerRed777, on 10/12/2007, -3/+44There's a special place in Hell for people like this.....
- dtinney, on 10/12/2007, -3/+43The humiliation of using such tactics will haunt the Arab and Muslim cultures for a 1000 years. Never in the history of warfare have a group of men been so pathetic and inept at fighting that have to use such tactics. Arab and Muslim will be synonymous with coward forever.
- IslamicScience, on 10/12/2007, -7/+46Every liberal lusts for more of this when he marches in his self-righteous paper mache parades to get our troops (whom they could care less about) out. Much like Hillary the terrorists LOVE to hide behind children.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+39Please remember what you've been told, Islam is a religion of peace.
Do I need to mark this as sarcasm? - puhiawa, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38The Death Cult of Islam feeds on itself.
- RadicalRon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36Has Koslamistan condemned this act of bravery, yet?
- puhiawa, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38sabraguy, many of the burybots are Muslims. They are much more organized.
- radishthegreat, on 10/12/2007, -4/+37Those are just two more children who would be alive today if it wasn't for the evil antics of Chimpy McHitler and Chenyburton. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.
- goforbroke, on 10/12/2007, -3/+31"that there are only two races of men, decent men and indecent" (Viktor Frankl)
Clarity test; which group were those terrorists with? - mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+30Oh they will- see miketrin ^ ^ he admits it.
- Vincep1974, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27Jihad. I have two items. The first is a description of how the Muslims moved into Persia.. notice the similarities to the crime they commit in Europe today.. Then after that , I show how Islam in its core teaching obligates the Muslim to do this. It's a religious obligation and an eschatological requirement. Oh and let me already state what the responses are going to be.. 1 - Taking it out of context 2 - Using a bad translation 3 - English doesnt have the same meaning as Arabic 4 - (My favorite) Billy did it too!!! (Comparing to other religions... this tactic is designed to prevent Islam from being discussed)
1 - Persian Conquest Example
"More Moslems came, and soon a small mosque was built, which attracted yet others. As long as Zoroastrians remained in the majority, their lives were tolerable; but once the Moslems became the more numerous, a petty but pervasive harassment was apt to develop. This was partly verbal, with taunts about fire-worship, and comments on how few Zoroastrians there were in the world, and how many Moslems, who must therefore posses the truth; and also on how many material advantages lay with Islam. The harassment was often also physical; boys fought, and gangs of youth waylaid and bullied individual Zoroastrians. They also diverted themselves by climbing into the local tower of silence and desecrating it, and they might even break into the fire-temple and seek to pollute or extinguish the sacred flame. Those with criminal leanings found too that a religious minority provided tempting opportunities for theft, pilfering from the open fields, and sometimes rape and arson. Those Zoroastrians who resisted all these pressures often preferred therefore in the end to sell out and move to some other place where their co-religionists were still relatively numerous, and they could live at peace; and so another village was lot to the old faith."
Boyce, A Persian Stronghold of Zoroastrianism, pp. 7-8;
2 - Islam 101
Shortly before Muhammad fled the hostility of Mecca, a new batch of Muslim converts pledged their loyalty to him on a hill outside Mecca called Aqaba. That Muhammad's nascent religion underwent a significant change at this point is plain. The scholarly Ishaq clearly intends to impress on his (Muslim) readers that, while in its early years, Islam was a relatively tolerant creed that would "endure insult and forgive the ignorant," Allah soon required Muslims "to war against all and sundry for God and his Apostle." The Islamic calendar testifies to the paramouncy of the Hijra by setting year one from the date of its occurrence. The year of the Hijra, 622 AD, is considered more significant than the year of Muhammad's birth or death or that of the first Quranic revelation because Islam is first and foremost a political-military enterprise. It was only when Muhammad left Mecca with his paramilitary band that Islam achieved its proper political-military articulation. The years of the Islamic calendar (which employs lunar months) are designated in English "AH" or "After Hijra."
Muhammad's greatest victory came in 632 AD, ten years after he and his followers had been forced to flee to Medina. In that year, he assembled a force of some ten thousand Muslims and allied tribes and descended on Mecca. "The Apostle had instructed his commanders when they entered Mecca only to fight those who resisted them, except a small number who were to be killed even if they were found beneath the curtains of the Kaba." (Sira, p550)
Volume 3, Book 29, Number 72;
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle entered Mecca in the year of its Conquest wearing an Arabian helmet on his head and when the Prophet took it off, a person came and said, "Ibn Khatal is holding the covering of the Kaba (taking refuge in the Kaba)." The Prophet said, "Kill him."
Following the conquest of Mecca, Muhammad outlined the future of his religion.
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177;
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour {of the Last Judgment} will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."
Volume 1, Book 2, Number 24;
Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."
It is from such warlike pronouncements as these that Islamic scholarship divides the world into dar al-Islam (the House of Islam, i.e., those nations who have submitted to Allah) and dar al-harb (the House of War, i.e., those who have not). It is this dispensation that the world lived under in Muhammad's time and that it lives under today. Then as now, Islam's message to the unbelieving world is the same: submit or be conquered. - p2j2t2, on 10/12/2007, -4/+28Digg allows groups opposed to free speech to bury articles, no matter how popular.
- WrathofGd, on 10/12/2007, -4/+28THE MIND OF THE ANTI-WAR CROWD:
Everything I don't want to hear: "American propaganda"
Same accusations made against the American soldiers?: "brave truth being told"
THE MIND OF WRATHOFGD:
My friends, this happened & is just disgusting! Explain this one, those who "support the Iraqi 'resistance'". - Franklancer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+27wow, already buried.. moonbats.. the brave defenders of free speech, open conversation, and reasoned debate, IF you only get your info from sources they approve of.
- lansuggs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25Update: just a second ago, a story with 60 diggs got promoted, and this has 160 and rising. wtf
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25The topic isn't anti-muslim dumbass.
It's anti-killing two innocent children for political gain. - lansuggs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25150 diggs now, no front page. I think its some kind of record!
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+24You know, if you think about it, without the "resistance" - we could have probably already rebuilt the place and had most of our guys and gals home by now. Or a whole bunch of 'em anyway...
Which would have made everybody happy.
But nooo... let's call them "the brave resistance"! ***spit*** They know they have the "brave resistance" back in America working it from a different angle. And it keeps them going.
Sheehan supports them.
I'm sorry, but you lose all of my sympathy when you support the people who killed your child. hint: bush didn't do it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26Help me understand. How do the libs bury LGF? As I post, this article has 119 diggs but no frontpage. Why is that? Is there a way to stop the diggbats?
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+25Anrkist -what a horrible thing to say.
- gh3ngis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22My grandmother has more balls than these cowardly losers.
- bcismar, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25Some men commit acts of horror.
Some men see the horror, cower, turn and flee.
Some men see the horror and are compelled as if the very finger of God pressed them from behind to lean forward into the horror and seek out it's source to destroy it.
It all comes down to what you are inside.
Are you Pink or Grey? http://www.ejectejecteject.com/archives/000129.html
Are you a sheep dog, or a sheep. http://www.blackfive.net/main/2004/10/i_only_hang_wit.html - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23I counted this story being buried as spam, inaccurate, or lame 12 times in a span of 2 minutes. It looks like this is an organized effort.
- LuckyLizard, on 10/12/2007, -4/+24Last story made popular had +/- 45 diggs and was about mosquitos... There IS a flagrant bias, no doubt there is something VERY UNFAIR that's done to bury almost ALL LGF posts !
- Auerbeck, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21What do you expect from a society that dresses their children up in suicide bomber costumes?
- LuckyLizard, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22160 and counting... no front page yet... a scandal !
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22I've been watching digg spy and there is an organized effort to bury this. One after another...within seconds...are burying this article as spam, lame, or inaccurate. I counted 12 in 2 minutes and it was still going. I think we need to send an email to the Digg people and complain.
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22That isn't what Wrath said.
The question was directed to those who support the "resistance". If you support the "resistance"... hate to tell ya- you are supporting killing those children.
If you are just an isolationist that thinks we shouldn't worry about the civilians left behind, then you may not support killing them, but you'll still get it. - LuckyLizard, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Over 170 diggs in less than 2 hours and now the story has been buried / no longer on upcoming stories ... WTF ?
- LuckyLizard, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21This made me sick !
- formercorpsman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19These were children.
These were innocent children.
They had no say in this.
They were children.
They were only children. - gh3ngis, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20there is a special place in hell for such cowardly cockroaches; those that maim and kill children. They get to sit right beside the paedophiles awaiting the fiery judgement.
If the "mujahedeen" are so BRAVE, this is a p*ss poor way of showing it.
Stand and fight someone your own size, pathetic excuses for men. - thisismycurse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Hey guys, found this:
http://digg.com/world_news/Why_Is_Digg_Being_Censored
Digg it up, this is crazy, 192 Diggs and not front paged - let people know - Longe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19So brave, The Religion of Peace!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21This particular article is important for others to see. It was originally from a newswire service anyhow. How do they bury it? (Up to 140 Diggs now).
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Thanks Coolapic. I looked at it and some people were burying the article as "spam." Maybe that's the trick.
- coolapic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16I'm watching the digg spy : http://digg.com/spy
There you can see real time what stories get buried / dugg / submited etc - voluble, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Digg is broken and is beyond repair. When there is so much interest in a topic and a few morons of questionable character can dictate what makes it to the front page then it defeats the entire purpose of having a site like this.
I am an atheist but I would like to believe that there is a special place in hell for those who would try to hide a story of such utter depravity and cruelty simply to give vent to the partisan hatred that fills their hearts and crowds out all other emotions and all reason.
When the news media finally starts reporting these events as what they are... as defeats for the cause of Islamism and a stain upon honor of Islam and all of its followers... then they will slowly dry up. After-all, isn't that how it would be reported if we engaged in the same activities? We must hold the enemy to the same standards as we hold ourselves. If victory for the Jihadis is painted as committing some pointless act of violence against the innocent then they can never be defeated because no one can defend every child, everywhere, at every time. This is the real battle that is being fought... between the civilized world and barbarity... and those who have buried this story have chosen sides. There will be no punishment in this life or the next for those who have carried water for the Islamists. But it is enough that we let them know that we see them for the frauds and empty shells that they are and that all they have succeeded in doing is earning the contempt of those who are better men than they will ever be. - LuckyLizard, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15How do you see it's buried ? For now, I still see it on the upcoming stories.
- novaculus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15First:
The terrorists who committed this atrocity are the personification of pure evil. Anyone who does not understand the widespread willingness of the Islamists to sacrifice children needs to study the history of the Iran-Iraq war. The Grand Ayatollah himself used brigades of children to clear minefields. The children were told they were going to heaven as martyrs, and given plastic "keys to heaven" before they were sacrificed. It is very, very difficult for people raised in Western societies to grasp the absolute and pervasive evil that the Islamists represent. Long past time we learned.
Second:
If you think you will spread the word by submitting LGF articles to digg, or by digging them, it ain't happenin', at least not in the short run.
Digg is not a democracy, not by a long shot. The algorithm is heavily weighted. "Buries" count more than "diggs". Furthermore, some votes count more than others. In a discussion I had with digg support, the digg support staffer made reference to "user karma"; when pressed for a definition, digg support simply refused to respond. But it isn't hard to figure it out. User karma is based on several factors, including length of membership, number of submissions, number of submissions that become popular, and number of diggs being among them. The more "karma", the more weight given to your diggs and buries in the algorithm.
Now consider that digg was originally mostly frequented by geeky techno types, many of whom are young and on the whole tending to be both immature and way, way to the left end of the political spectrum. Not only do they outnumber us, they have influence greatly disproportionate to their numbers based on the factors that figure into "user karma". They have been here longer, and they have been playing the game longer, and they know well how to game the site. As a group, they have two major problems with news items that conservatives find interesting and informative: 1) They don't agree with the viewpoints expressed, and the facts tend to undermine their world view, causing them mucho angst and cognitive dissonance, and 2) They hate LGF, Michelle Malkin, and any number of other conservative sources, for the reasons set out in (1).
So they target news they don't like, source sites they don't like, and members they don't like for "bury" attacks. They don't give two damns if the story is true or important, or what else may be at stake. Recognize the pattern? Just like the Demos in Congress who will sacrifice the country's best interests and surrender to the Islamist enemies if they think they can hurt Bush and the Republicans.
So there is a large group of geeky, moronic little *****, sitting in front of their keyboards in mommy's basement, with their little talleywhackers in one hand and the bury button at the fingertips of the other. They constantly search digg for news items they don't like, either for content or source, and bury them. It isn't hard, it just takes a bunch of idiots with the same perverse agenda and too much time on their hands.
Forget the front page of digg. Take the long view in the battle for control of the news. Build up your friends list with people who submit, digg up, and comment on items that interest you. Use the lists of stories submitted, dugg, or commented on by friends to find the news you seek. Slowly but surely, as our numbers grow, and our "karma" increases, we will have more influence. Persevere, my friends.
Make sure you are not submitting the same item from LGF, Malkin et al twice. I saw three submissions of the same article from LGF earlier this week; doing so just splits the vote. And when you digg up submissions from LGF, Malkin or other sites, and you should, look for submissions on the same topic, and digg them up too. Gotta keep the Diggbat Thought Gestapo Bury Brigade busy. - VLADtheINHALER, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Yes it is mainly muslims who would bury this. They are protecting and advancing Islam at the same time. The most sick of the left bury as well because they have taught themselves a simple Pavlovian response to the visual stimuli of L G F . They think they are protecting and forwarding Hillary or Huseinns bid for power.
It says you got a lot of 5th columnist muslims and a bunch of depressed and cranky leftists infesting Digg. Normal humans would not want to suppress such a sample of clarity into the heart of Islam.
To the muslims its too sensational, it will make ignorant/unaware minds curious about the creatures who can act this way, so it must be suppressed.
For the lost of the left it may interfer with losing the war in Iraq and lessening a temporary allies credibility as victims.
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14American tyranny?
lol
USAID? McDonalds?
Yeah- let's stop that flow of cash and freedom fries! *snicker* - hackers019, on 10/12/2007, -8/+19If you don't support the war, then you don't support stopping ridiculous things like blowing up two children.
- dimestorenovel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13I agree - it is probably not a bunch of leftists burying stories like this one. More likely Islamists. I think Digg is rather hopeless - the bury button is the problem. Digg is not the forum for getting important stories like this out to the people. Digg is only a good place to find cool photos and fun facts.
Cowards use children to fight their war. Evil cowards. The problem is, these creatures do not and will never see themselves as wrong or evil. They will always be able to justify their barbarous actions and that is what makes them so dangerous to reasonable human beings and the civilized world. - geekee, on 10/12/2007, -11/+21CNN's version:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/03/20/iraq.main/index.html - satost, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11This is just so sad, the whole world deserves to know about it. We owe it to these children not to let this story be buried.
- mcfairy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10What are you talking about? Making sure the truth is known isn't political spin.
Using two innocent children as bombs is the same as calling them on it?
You have got to be kidding me. - descolada9, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11And to think, the Pelosi Democrats are looking to sidle closer and closer to CAIR and like-minded Islamic organizations. I think I can safely challenge their patriotism and their wisdom now.

What is Digg?
