- IIAmusedII, on 08/05/2008, -16/+125You know, I'm really starting to think that maybe we were deliberately misled into the war against Iraq.
- ekso, on 08/05/2008, -27/+118"COULD" be an impeachable offence!?!?
While receiving a blow job "IS" an impeachable offence!? - TheLastProphet, on 08/05/2008, -14/+95Maybe we should ask Pelosi, what constitutes proof?
- JoeParanoid, on 08/05/2008, -14/+72The problem is that the public has become so inured to the corruption, the scandal, the self-dealing, the criminality and the incompetence of this administration that there's no outrage left. Compare this to Watergate where people reacted with true horror. Yet Nixon could only dream of what Bush has actually done. It's a testament to the depoliticization of this country even during an election year.
- Glofern, on 08/05/2008, -14/+69I agree with the Pelosi comment - just what does she need to see a crime? This is way over the top from what Bill Clinton got Impeached for and yet, the Dems block or say that there is no time. This is disgusting and these criminals should not just be able to walk away from what they have done to the world - this goes way beyond just the United States and Iraq - it has affected the planet.
- GlobalistShill, on 08/05/2008, -19/+73BIG LIE:
'The Big Lie is a propaganda technique. It was defined by Adolf Hitler in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf as a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously".'
Under Cheney's administration it was employed on 9/11, leading troops into Afghanistan, and then into Iraq,… and is still in use to this day... - kplo, on 04/01/2009, -30/+83Man oh man, this administration is just looking suckier and suckier... not that it looked good to begin with.
- spinchange, on 08/05/2008, -14/+59as an aside, this book also notes that the President refused, against the urging of the CIA, to place a surveillance device in Vladamir Putin's room when he visited here in 2001. It was feared that his people would find it and be offended. The CIA insisted that, even if they did, it would've earned their respect. Bush said no, and later told the whole world that he had, "looked into Putin's eyes and seen his soul."
This is the same President who later unlawfully wiretaped his own US citizens en masse. Evidently he can't see into our soul. - enantiodromia, on 08/05/2008, -8/+47Anyone else ever notice that during the Cold War, Americans were fighting against a regime where the central government claimed absolute power over its people, had a total disregard for personal liberties and freedoms while conducting secret wiretapping and other spying activities, and would make people disappear without any official reason or trial for being a potential 'enemy of the state', and now, those same Americans who wore the "Kill a Commie for Mommy" t-shirts and whacked off to "Red Dawn" are defending the US Government's rights to do pretty much the exact same stuff to us in the name of "Homeland" security?
And in an ironic twist, the US has become less Capitalist with its sweetheart no-bid contracts to those private businesses who support the crooked politicians, and Russia has become an example of Super Capitalism, where anything can be bought, sold, rented, or blown up if you have the money to shell out. - warcrimeepoch, on 08/05/2008, -22/+55They DID it all......911......the anthrax........Fake YELLOWCAKE papers lies about anthrax!!!!!!!!!! Hey, its hard to steal a trillion $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- scoottie, on 08/05/2008, -1/+28she's on vacation
- bazzoola, on 08/05/2008, -8/+32This only happens in a democratic country.

http://digg.com/tech_news/2.3_TRILLION_PENTAGON_$$ ... - joe122370, on 08/05/2008, -16/+39he was impeached for lying under oath, not for the numerous blow jobs he gave the chinese that rented the lincoln bedroom
- Authustian, on 08/05/2008, -4/+27Tell that to those in gitmo...
- lithera, on 08/05/2008, -5/+28No this only happens in a country where a president gets impeached over a blowjob and the people elect a president guilty of numerous serious crimes against his own and various other countries *twice* and get's away with it.
- inactive, on 08/05/2008, -4/+26Putin is a fellow dictator - they are snugglebuddies.
We are cattle. - an0nymous, on 08/05/2008, -0/+22So let's have an investigation and get answers to these questions under oath to clear Bush's good name!
...
They won't?
Hmmm... - btschul, on 08/05/2008, -4/+25Digg article title : Book: Bush ordered fake letter linking Iraq to 9/11
Article title: Bush ordered fake letter linking Iraq to 9/11
Actual article: Bush ALLEGEDLY ordered the CIA to forge a handwritten letter from the head of Iraq's intelligence service to Saddam Hussein
Hmmmmmmmm....... - MWeather, on 08/05/2008, -1/+22"If this were true I'm pretty sure it would be bigger news, though."
You must be new here... - papastout, on 08/05/2008, -11/+31Bush Administration : FAIL
- dondara, on 08/05/2008, -5/+24"Grow up ya bunch of left wing moonbat retards"
Grow up indeed - inactive, on 08/05/2008, -9/+28The reason you are responding like that is because there is so much evidence out there, that people like you feel its all one big hoax. It is actually overwhelming. Please turn off any cable news channels you have on in the background. Thank you, come again.
- AndySavage, on 08/05/2008, -4/+23That all depends on what your definition of the word "is," is.
- enantiodromia, on 08/05/2008, -4/+22I agree with southwestnut. It is not the job of the American people to be skeptical of our government and demand those in power be held accountable for.. WAIT A MINUTE...
yes it is. - scoottie, on 08/05/2008, -12/+29"allegedly"
al·leged (ə-lějd', ə-lěj'ĭd)
adj. Represented as existing or as being as described but not so proved; supposed.
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=allegedly ... - sodade, on 08/05/2008, -1/+18Bush looked into the soul of the average american and found that it was as empty as the mindless distractions they crave. He knew then that he could do whatever the ***** he wanted. So he did.
Bush is OUR fault. - DanMiller, on 08/05/2008, -7/+23Placing a man under oath regarding adultery is absurd. The intention was for the Republicans to drag him through the mud and look for a way to oust him from office.
- Suzilla, on 08/05/2008, -2/+18... about a blowjob.
- barstegry, on 08/05/2008, -7/+21Explosive accusations from a newly published and released book...
Not saying Bush didn't do it, just sayin' - emdub, on 08/05/2008, -3/+17I love how the headline reads, "Bush ordered fake letter..." while the first sentence reads, "Bush allegedly ordered fake letter..." If ever there has been more concise proof of a misleading headline, I haven't seen it. Or rather, I allegedly haven't seen it.
- overridemymind, on 08/05/2008, -1/+14@Wargalas -- okay, but the point still follows:
Clinton lied under oath (yes, yes, I know, about a blowjob *que studio audience*) and was impeached.
Bush lies to the American public -- to begin a war that we now can't get out of; he subverts the constitution in the name of "Homeland Security", allows "Big Business" to run amok (see articles concerning Time Warner, Comcast, the MPAA and the RIAA) and has created a greater threat to America on his quest to "make America safer". (He's done that part by basically pissing off all our Allies.... People around the globe now hate the US, a true statement before the Bush administration, to be sure -- but during the last 8 years it's only gotten worse.
And still -- no impeachment. - TinternAbbot, on 08/05/2008, -10/+23Just because something is written in a book doesn't make it true. Although I'm sure Suskind will sell lots of books because of this coverage.
- axel000, on 08/05/2008, -17/+30These buggers cannot be rewarded with another four years. Vote your conscience.
- Iztikeit, on 08/05/2008, -5/+18But those extremists will never touch you, me or that guy you replied too.
Cars kill far more people every year than terrorists. Only people who buy into political ploys are afraid of terrorists. - DanMiller, on 08/05/2008, -0/+13It can be assumed that a journalist who has been awarded the Pulitzer can at least be given the benefit of the doubt when it comes to accurate and intelligent reporting. But who cares, the administration depends on people who simply can't believe the lengths they would go to gain power.
- inactive, on 08/05/2008, -18/+30Allegedly, says some author who's trying to sell a book.
But hey... just like headlines sell newspapers, headlines get diggs. - inactive, on 08/05/2008, -6/+18GOEBBELS!
and ***** godwin's law! - spinchange, on 08/05/2008, -3/+15Yeah, I know more "gutter journalism" from a ***** Pulitzer Prize winner.
Up is down, left is right, wrong is right. The joke's on us. - AndySavage, on 08/05/2008, -3/+14The fact that you put "known" in quotes was not only particularly hilarious, but also essentially nullifies your whole post.
- spinchange, on 08/05/2008, -2/+13I didn't know they gave these to tabloid writters:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulitzer_Prize - spinchange, on 08/05/2008, -3/+13I know, they give these to just about anyone: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulitzer_Prize
- HigherLogic, on 08/05/2008, -6/+16>> he was impeached for lying under oath
Yes...about a ***** BLOWJOB! - kemp34, on 08/05/2008, -2/+12You, dear sir, are an idiot.
- SuperMoses, on 08/05/2008, -0/+10"for the record if this were true, it would be highly classified and this dude would probably be dead" .. ok, you've watched too many movies. Woodward did not die for uncovering watergate.. but then again, he had to protect his source.
No one is saying to approach this "source" with skepticism. However, given the credibility of the Bush administration, these kinds of accusations should be taken seriously and further investigated. - JinnRikki, on 08/05/2008, -0/+10Evidently the American voters can't see into someone's soul, even after he's ass raped them for four years.
- dondara, on 08/05/2008, -3/+12Bush didn't want his rendezvous with Putin recorded. That idiot has never been worried about offending anybody.
- tomarocco, on 08/05/2008, -3/+12There are no terrorist camps in Afghanistan. There is, however, a wonderful route for a pipeline leading from the oil-rich Caspian Basin to the Persian Gulf. It is also conspicuous that its works geographically with Iraq to conveniently encapsulate Iran.
Terrorists are ficticious boogiemen devised by your own government to keep you living in fear so that you will offer no resistance to their agenda. - JSager, on 08/05/2008, -3/+11You fail to understand a good amount then, bro.
