Bernie Madoff Gets 150 Years in Prison, Will Die in Jail

money.cnn.com — Bernard Madoff, the mastermind behind the largest and most sweeping Ponzi scheme ever, was sentenced today to 150 years in prison. CNNMoney reports that before the sentence was read, Madoff apologized to his victims: "I cannot offer you an excuse for my behavior. I know this will not help. I'm sorry."
