- craighoxton, on 10/10/2007, -3/+88Has the world just turned into a Tom Clancy novel?
- gab00n, on 10/10/2007, -6/+52As soon as I heard about this incident I suspected someone probably stole a nuke or two, the so called error that the Air Force made is absolutely impossible to make.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/10/2007, -2/+43Just like the Anthrax......has there been an arrest in that case yet?
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -9/+49It is headed for NY; blame is headed for Iran. Martial law to follow. You've been warned.
- jplevel, on 10/10/2007, -7/+45real for fake, digg this up, I would rather be wrong (and sound crazy) then be right and not have this information out here.
- doctorfungi, on 10/10/2007, -9/+43I'm not trying to claim the article is false, but I will say that you really do need to exercise skepticism and critical thinking when you read things on the internet.
In regards to people saying "The U.S will nuke itself to justify an attack on Iran", I have to disagree. In the event of a nuclear explosion, the radiation from the blast can be analyzed to determine where the uranium in the bomb was enriched. If it is discovered that the uranium in the bomb was enriched in the United States, that rules out Iran as being the culprit rather rapidly. If someone was planning to nuke the United States, they would know this. To put it simply... it's way too easy to get caught. - Napoleone, on 10/10/2007, -6/+40The implication at the end of the article is that we might be in store for a false-flag event. But how can we discuss this troubling scenario intelligently when we can't even all agree on the fact that there have been times in which our own government has done horrendous deeds to its own people for its own ends?

- Waiting2awake, on 10/10/2007, -6/+33Why are you laughing? Isn't that what happened? How about those Anthrax cases that were found out to be American.... Funny how once that became public(to those watching the watchers) that it kind of disappeared eh?
The reality is that if you think your government is above doing this - you simply don't know your government. - AlexLibman, on 10/10/2007, -4/+30Don't forget to "Duck... and Cover!"
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -7/+33The whole nuke transport incident is very troubling, for reasons that have been thoroughly outlined by convincing and informed sources. This article is speculation, but given what we have been thru in the last 7 years, no one can be blamed for looking at all possibilities with an open mind. If I had accurately predicted the events of the last 6 years in early 2000, I would have been laughed at beyond all measure, and probably somebody in my family would have tried some kind of medical intervention. Nevertheless, we live in very, very troubling times, and some of the things that have actually happened in the real world have been beyond insane.
Perhaps by talking up all these possibilities, we may make the insane rogues in the military & government, who really may exist, avoid carrying out any ***** crazy plans. That alone is worth talking about this stuff. It may be crazy, but given that the WTC attack was predicted by a tv show spinoff from the ***** X-files, IMHO, all bets are off on sanity.
Do you trust Dick Cheney? Do you trust the people who signed the PNAC documents? I don't. After the way the disastrous Iraq war has been run, by people clearly deluded and living in a dreamworld at odds with reality, where discourse from the likes of Sean Hannity & Anne Coulter are entertained seriously by more than a minority in the populace, I no longer discount even the crazier possibilities, if there is a shred of truth to the evidence that spurs their discussion.
Bush, Cheney, Ahmadinejad, Olmert, Bin Laden, Putin.. all of these people are craven, insane people. We are the sane ones. The lunatics are in charge. Remember that. - greenlight2001, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27You CAN determine where uranium was enriched. Tom Clancy often puts real life facts in his book... go figure.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -19/+44Just like the debris at the WTC could be analyzed to find traces of explosives. Except that the whole site was controlled by FEMA who deliberately destroyed all the evidence.
- burythetruth, on 10/10/2007, -9/+33Go back to sleep people, there is nothing to see here.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24someone knows whats going on, heads should roll
- protogenxl, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Why steal one from the US when you can buy one at Crazy Ivan's Falling Iron Curtain Blowout Sale for pennies on the ruble?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2214th September. could be wrong, but thats the day the the airforce has been requested to stand down....
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -6/+22Here comes a false flag event. Hide under your desk kids.
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16It's always a good time to move from Detroit.
- williamdyer, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18Just a slight problem with that: We would have to trust our government to be truthful. If a nuke goes off, you can bet it will be labeled "Made in Iran" no matter where it came from.
- judicar, on 10/10/2007, -8/+22.. or maybe some butterbar 2nd lt screwed up and the cruise missiles were loaded with warheads installed, I worked this same flightline back in the early '90s, believe me it can happen, they don't look any different visually. The conspiracy just doesn't hold water, how does this incident enable the gov to steal one of its own nukes? I realize critical reading and objectivity is not en vogue these days but really, if the gov wanted to steal one of its own nukes there are easier ways then causing an international incident.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17why is the military standing down on friday?
- DreKor, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14They lost some nukes a few weeks ago and now everybody has to sit in timeout.
- F1R3DUP, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18You can't say the US would nuke itself because that would never happen. However, you can say that the same people on the inside that orchestrated 9/11 would nuke us though....and probably will.
- KMye, on 11/03/2007, -0/+11You must be new here
- BobOki, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I have been saying for nearly 4 years now that Bush will cause another attack on American soil so he can claim the wartime presidential powers that he had slipped into law recently to become America's first dictator. Each step has been taken to lead to that:
Bush creates a wiretap/spy program.
Bush reserves the right to classify terrorist solely by his own discression.
Bush starts multiple wars using the word terrorism like its a anonym for patriotic making sure to stress a with us or against us mentality.
Bush gets approved a law to allow the president to take over the govt in the event of a terrorist attack on US soil.
Now all we need is a nuke or something to go missing and a country to blame for it that we wish to go to war with..... HEEEYYYY wait a second... Within the last few months thats all fell into place! Ok, then we need to spread fear and rumors saying that even though our current war in iraq is by the report released a few days ago, working and terrorism is down 75% or whatever, we anticipate a attack on our soil thus proving our surge in iraq is NOT working.... wait.... WE HAVE THAT TOO!?!??!
Well *****, looks like everything is now in place for a false-flag attack, putting Bush as a dictator, declaring martial law as our laws says he can, and our country is then the United States of Bush. - Coven, on 10/10/2007, -6/+17I work in Woodside, NY, which is right under the landing pattern for LaGuardia airport. I hear planes going overhead constantly, but today a few of those planes have been flying entirely too low and too fast, sounding nothing like the commercial aircraft I'm used to hearing (read: they're military jets). Something fishy is definitely going on.
- RonBurgundy76, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10The world has BEEN a Tom Clancy novel for several decades... we're just now getting into the exciting parts of the story... unfortunately.
- AlbinoRaven, on 10/10/2007, -5/+15Bet's on how and where anyone?
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp%3FARTICLE_ID%3D57571&cid=0
I think the iranian nuke scud alert will be the false flag event because of this...
http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=109209
Of course that would be silly, why attack the eastern seaboard. It would be far easier to blow up pain points in the US economy. Say, destroy Detroit, with crashing real estate prices, best way to recoup the losses would have insurance settle the pretend "market" value of the property and there by help bail out the sub-prime mortgage jackasses at Freddie Mac. - thugok, on 10/10/2007, -8/+18My shares in Reynolds Wrap just went through the roof.
- Beylan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Yes, there was an arrest. They took some guy, arrested him, tormented the hell out of him, destroyed his life, seized his property, and then decided he didn't do it and kicked him to the curb with no apologies.
- enki25, on 10/10/2007, -3/+12You assume that nuclear scientists will be regarded with any credibility by corporate media and hardcore republicans. To them a message like "the radiation signature indicates this bomb was built in the US" is just liberal defeatocrat propaganda.
- Anth, on 10/10/2007, -9/+18Its going to happen Friday when the military is stood down. At least thats what I'd guess if I had to pick a time.
- Joe_rigby, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11If there is a nuclear attack on American soil by the American government, I hope it falls on my house.
- Ramble, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11I am not a number, I am a free man!
- CraigJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10While it's true that this scenario was in a Tom Clancy novel, it is true that isotope ratios in the fallout can be analyzed to determine the type and origin of the weapon, or at least rule out specific origins, when coupled with additional information.
- rspeed, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Yeah, but not everything he puts in his books are factual. For example: would anyone actually miss Baltimore?
- usrlocalbin, on 10/10/2007, -4/+13Time to load up on my ammo supply. Who knows what kinda crazy ***** will be done with that nuke in the hands of the retards in office.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Doubt anything will happen - but if it does... I wonder if there would be anyone that would actually buy it?
Thats the trouble though - if it happened legitimately, some will point to these things are reasons for a cover up.
In the end, it comes down to whether you believe your government is trying to help you or itself. - Soulhuntre, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13When your as knee deep in craziness as the folks over at Above Top Secret the whole concept of anything being "far fetched" is silly. I mean, these are the people who seriously discuss whether or not Johnny Depp is an alien from another planet in human form.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Google "Operation Northwoods"
- joel2600, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13it was only publicly announced because someone in the military leaked the information to the press. had this person not done that, nobody would have ever even known that the original trip took place in the first place.
- yodaj007, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Yes, we can. Nothing would whip up the US population into a war-frenzy more than a devastating nuclear false flag event on our own soil.
- gopher043, on 10/10/2007, -4/+11because discussing whether Britney is to fat or who snorts coke in hollywood has become the norm these days. Now that's news! /end sarcasm
- CaesarBlue, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10This has to be true, because the press never makes mistakes when it first reports a story! DEWEY WINS!!!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Isn't that what our gov't is doing?
OH NOES! TERRISTS UNDR YER BED! - StarlessKnight, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8@jehoesefat: Remember those emails that weren't suppose to be deleted concerning official White House business being conducted on unofficial RNC servers? Remember how a collection of those emails were accidentally deleted despite rules stipulating that they should never be deleted?
Furthermore, remember the FISA incident? The court Bush stepped around until a whistleblower let the rest of us know there was a warrantless wiretapping program not going through the FISA court?
Just because the government is designed to be slow and keep a paper trail doesn't mean it will be or do so. I'm not advocating 9/11 was a conspiracy, I'm just saying if key people wanted to do something, they don't necessarily have to follow the playbook (9/11 would have been a hell of a play, though, but that's another subject). - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10it was leaked by a member of the military, not "publicly announced" asshat.
oh,i forgot, this is digg, where no one bothers to RTFA before they start spouting *****. - digitalhair, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I agree. The information regarding the enrichment signature would be suppressed in the media just like the radical destruction of our constitutional rights has been, just like the gun confiscation that occured in Louisiana post Katrina, just like the fact that Marvin Bush sat on the board of the company that handled security for the Twin Towers up until the day they were attacked. Information of the type that was and will be suppressed for "national security" reasons.
- yodaj007, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I've had terrists in my closet since I was 4. But my mommy saved me.
