- jwjedi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I work up the road a short distance away from where this happened for a local electric utility. The smoke and flames were pretty darn impressive this afternoon (it's still burning actually)! Amazingly, nobody was hurt.

- bwhite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5This was submitted nearly 22 hours ago ... really no need for Breaking in the title since it is old news by the time we all read it.
- e03179, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This happened yesterday. I just turned on the TV to make sure this didn't have for a second day in a row.
- Wenz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Article is from Feb. 7, FTA: "Multiple explosions at a chemical plant shook Kansas City’s East Bottoms area about 2:15 this afternoon." It's not even 2 in Kansas yet. This is not breaking news.
- AeroSquid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it's not breaking news, it happened yesterday but not in Kansas. Kansas City is mostly in Missouri ;)
