- dkapuchino, on 07/19/2008, -0/+19That's 4 years old. Amazing how little has been done by the world to deal with this issue.

- txchica, on 07/20/2008, -1/+13The only way to set a "dangerous precedent" is to not make al-Bashir accountable for the genocide.

Islam requires blood sacrifices, not the blood of a Ram nor of a symbolic nature but real human blood sacrifices.

- hadees, on 07/28/2008, -0/+3I was inclined to agree with you until the whole part about blood sacrifices. I think it is important not to lower ourselves to the level of those who seek to ignore what is happening in Darfur. There are good Muslim, unfortunately for the most part don't have much say in the government of Muslim nations. The reason they won't do anything while the government of Sudan slaughters the people of Darfur is not religious but rather strategic reasons. It is the old if you wash my back i'll help you wash yours. If they blindly support any country in their Arab/Muslim nation alliance they expect the same when they have to do what ever in their own country. In addition to that some of them are simply after the resources of Sudan and so long as the current government gives them access they could care less.
