- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -0/+26Seems like most kids nowadays have some prescription for something. How about some good old fashioned family support instead of drugs? there is no magic pill....
- inactive, on 12/06/2007, -0/+24Stop using them.
- StopTheLie, on 12/06/2007, -0/+18Another gunman stoned out of their gourd...not on pot...NO, that stuff is WAY to dangerous...this guy (along with many others) was on the "safe stuff" when he lost his mind.
- lisas2dope, on 12/06/2007, -0/+15People think there must be a pill taken for everything. You can't even have a cold these days without co-workers family members & friends telling you about a bunch of drugs you should take to "get you better". Why can't the sniffles just run their course? Women think they need a prescription for valium becasue they have menstrual cramps. Call in sick to work & relax with some hot chocolate! Life isn't just 24/7 feeling great & dancing around, being perfect & never having an ache or pain. Why can't anyone just be normal anymore?
- inactive, on 12/06/2007, -0/+14Good article. I'd like to mention one other example though, the recent Finnish gunman:
http://www.hs.fi/english/article/Jokela+gunman+sai ... - alice104, on 12/06/2007, -0/+13Google "Confessions of an Rx Drug Pusher" and open your eyes. Of course, you'll never see this on the nightly news, because you can't watch the nightly news for 10 minutes without seeing ads for pharma drugs... just "ask your doctor if __________ is right for you."
- vguard, on 12/07/2007, -0/+13Here's a theory: Most people, who feel like crap, feel that way because their moral compass is still functioning to some degree. What they're experiencing is a natural result of having to live in a dishonest, upside-down world. The "imbalance" in their brain is simply an effect of this conflicted state. By removing this "imbalance" the SSRI drugs destroy what's left of their internal moral compass and turn them into suicidal psychopathic killers.
- Look4Truth, on 12/07/2007, -0/+11Oh but the FDA is doing a great job...right?
- ninjaSteak, on 12/07/2007, -0/+10*Phone calls with magic trigger words...
- alice104, on 12/06/2007, -0/+10Read the AP story and it specifically says "Hawkins was not on any medication for mental illness" and then click on the CNN interview with his friend, in which he specifically says "he was on anti-depressants for the past couple months."
Now, tell me... is the AP confused, or what's going on here?
Also, the fact that he has been on the drugs for "a couple months" is a HUGE indicator... it means the drugs had an immediate effect on his psyche. Because no matter how long he's been depressed, he never before "snapped" and went on a shooting spree... THAT only happened after he started using anti-depressants.
Now we can sit back and listen to newscasters ponder about "why, oh why... would he do something like this?" The answer is "He wouldn't, if he wasn't on mind-altering drugs." - Liverwurst, on 12/07/2007, -0/+9Yellowbox,
Carefully come off of them with medical supervision , I did with Zoloft and am much better for it now. - finnorlandkvis, on 12/07/2007, -0/+6I can personally vouch to what Paxil does. After an extreme traumatic experience, a Dr. prescribed Paxil. Within the one week I took this "medication" I had NO feelings left, except an extreme anger I'd never felt before. I threw them in the John and flushed them down. It's my belief these chemicals destroy the natural brain forever. I won't even take pain medication for an extreme toothache anymore.
- Herostratus, on 12/07/2007, -0/+5Maybe he listened to too much Judas Priest...
- finnorlandkvis, on 12/07/2007, -0/+5To yellowbox98: Get the heck off them, with your Doc's help. They will do far more harm than good. I suppose every one is capable of every crime, but it seems that brain drugs are what tips the balance. The crime that anyone could logically think to NOT commit off drugs, he/she will commit on drugs.
- Elwizardo99, on 12/08/2007, -0/+4Over 20% of Americans are on antidepressants. This is because it makes the pharmaceutical companies all kinds of money. It is not because it is medically warranted. And yes, these drugs make violence directed at the taker or others 12 to 20 times more likely. The FDA doesn't care about you.
- Mik1984, on 12/08/2007, -0/+3ADHD doesn't exist!!!
It's a scam. There is no objective set of conditions to claim someone has it. All diagnosis is subjective, this is very unlike every other disease. - UnburyUnit, on 12/08/2007, -0/+3completely agree.
- rcbtmc, on 12/08/2007, -0/+2The AP story is just another example of how the real media spreads its government generated fake news. Washington must believe that the citizens of the US are all stupid and cannot handle the real truth...or is it that maybe other people might start pulling their kids off medication and start lawsuits and investigations?
Maybe we ought to start by examining the backgrounds of the so called medical professionals that are so quick to prescribe this toxic crap. Or maybe let's just stop focusing so much media attention on these type of stories to start. After all what good has this story done for society? - inactive, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5I am gonna advance the notion that Hawkins was a patsie in the mold of Lee Harvey Oswald and Osama bin Laden…
The Russians said it was an assassination attempt on GWB… but then the VA tech massacre is thought to be an ISJ as well… Release the transcripts of the radio transmissions that led the Russians to make the conclusion they made… Then everyone can make up their own mind, and not rely on a media propaganda machine that turns a blind eye to hard 911 evidence.
From yesterday… FSB reports circulating in the Kremlin this morning are detailing a shocking gun battle that took place in the United States between American Secret Service Agents and an ‘unknown’ number of what are believed to be 3 ‘highly trained, military type’ sniper units in a suburban mall in Omaha, Nebraska.
According to these reports, President Bush, was using a ‘cover story’ for his unannounced visit to Omaha. The White House admits GWB was in Omaha at least up until about an hour before the shooting… maybe he got wind of the plot in time.
Upon the US Secret Service units entering into the Westroads Mall, and prior to the American President’s intended photo-op, FSB reports detail a ‘chaotic’ series of radio transmissions that, seemingly, detail a ‘furious’ gun battle between what can only be described as US Forces firing on US Forces, and which, according to Western media information, has left 9 people dead. whatdoesitmean.com
From the Files of Freddy Fatt October 2007: …Jackie Bibby sat in a tub with 87 rattlesnakes, George W Bush is in a similar predicament only the rattlers are a lot more trustworthy… Maybe a false flag op will murder George W Bush propelling Cheney into the top job, he will claim moral authority and will wage global war in response. Then mainstream media alliance simply goes into denial mode, a la the denial underway re 911 and the Kennedy’s. Maybe Freddy’s prediction has come true… maybe it was an assassination attempt.
They alter history and change the news, days after GWB’s assassination the false flag op would be written up as history and the connection to 911, Iraq, Kennedy maintained by truthers would be spammed out of the public eye, and then all you would hear about would be Hitler and The fuggin Holocaust, which was itself a black op choreographed by Jews. - Hamanu, on 12/08/2007, -0/+2ummm....are you on drugs? if not.....think on it
- RomanticStorm, on 12/09/2007, -0/+2This is just one of many people, who is certifiably, suffering from depression and the known, yet suppressed, effects of prescription drugs. What about all of the other folks, common folks, out there who are suffering everyday and also lack a 'support system'? The inordinate social demands of individuals to produce profits for others, a lack of a basic living arrangement due to wage slavery, and a host of other social 'isms' are driving people insane. Catharsis? If you're sharp, you don't have far to look...
- yellowbox98, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5I am on SSRI Drugs, I am on Lexapo 20mg per day.
I am capable of every crime (Everyone is)
What should I do? - alice104, on 12/08/2007, -0/+2Agree completely as well.
It's the person's subconscious rejecting the conflicting programs and calling attention to a problem. Of course, drugs never cure problems, they simply mask them. Stop taking the drugs, and the problems remain... and that's only if you live long enough to stop taking them.
We have been conditioned to accept conflicting foundational beliefs... our religious or moral teachings on one hand, which conflict with society's unrelenting programming of meaningless sex, violence, war and instant gratification.
ADD is simply a reaction to placing people with energy in environments where they are forced to remain still, silent and obedient. Ritalin makes them still, silent and obedient... so they can be force-fed the programming. - osullibhean, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1The Russians said it was an assassination attempt on GWB...
No they didn't. A fictitious character known as Sorcha Faal, renowned for pushing disinfo out on to the internet, was the source of this claim. It is nothing more than *****. Google "who is Sorcha Faal" for more info.
