- cadethansen, on 02/02/2008, -1/+201. google "dangerous cult" and scientology will be your first option.
2. You can't look at any options at the scientologists website.
3. protests and flyer's being place around the globe.
GREAT WORK ANONYMOUS!- SuperWinner, on 02/03/2008, -0/+3Lesson learned: when submitting a scientology story to digg, mis-spelling the word scientology will guarantee it does not get buried by the COS digg down bots.
- FlippinJack, on 02/02/2008, -1/+19We need to digg this up!!!!
Scientologists are digging these articles down, so far they're winning.
Come on people, lets show them what were made of.- goldfishey, on 02/02/2008, -1/+6would scientologists be allowed to access digg? I thought their net nanny filters blocked sites like this?
- phnx0221, on 02/03/2008, -2/+3Where there is outspoken dissent of their cult, and rebellion from within, you can be absolutely certain that they are observing. In fact, it is part of their protocol in dealing with the public, and of "suppressed persons", to do so.
- Prototek, on 02/02/2008, -9/+5When you don't use an invasion or other tactics, your stories don't get dugg because no one cares about your masturbatory rebellion. The truth hurts so you blame it on scientologists.
- swrostmore, on 02/02/2008, -9/+1"your stories don't get dugg because no one cares about your masturbatory rebellion. The truth hurts so you blame it on scientologists."
QFT - dkern, on 02/02/2008, -0/+4Scientology is not winning *****. If they have to come on digg and bury articles and comments its because they are scared *****....and they should be.
- nepawoods, on 02/03/2008, -2/+3"Scientologists are digging these articles down ..."
I seriously doubt it. I know a lot of ordinary people who are sick of hearing about this overblown pissing contest are digging them down.

- jdinatale, on 02/02/2008, -13/+3I don't agree with Scientology, but does illegal acts such as DOS attacks make it right? Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us resistance through non-violence.
- BigBallistix, on 02/02/2008, -0/+7How is a DOS attack violent? Props to Ghandi and such, but their advice is a little outdated. Anyone could employ terrorist tactics without violence, and still manage destruction and despair.
- Gutterpunk, on 02/02/2008, -1/+4Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't face a fanatical cult, but society and the Governement. You can't just stay passive in front of an adversary that isn't.
Sun Tzu and Machiavelli's teachings are more what you are looking for here if you want to make an impact. - swrostmore, on 02/02/2008, -0/+8I buried this story, but DDOS attacks are the internet version of classic civil disobedience "sit-ins," where protesters flood the offending location and simply sit there, preventing the location from being used for nefarious purposes.

- BigBallistix, on 02/02/2008, -1/+26"In keeping with this objective, Anonymous has drafted 22 rules that Anonymous can follow in order to ensure EPIC WIN and no loss of hitpoints on your part." Well you must admit; they sure know how to reach their target audience with the right jargon.
- Pittance, on 02/05/2008, -1/+2From what I have seen and heard, this jargon isn't so much to target their audience, but to make fun of themselves and their audience. No video game nerd actually talks like that, but in using that kind of speech, you immediately identify who you are, AND that you think stereotypes are lame/funny. In so using "epic win", "hitpoints", "lulz", you are simultaneously identifying yourself as belonging to this group, and making fun of yourself for it.
At least that's what I'm getting out of it. Anyone else got any opinions on that subject?

- bigp3rm, on 02/02/2008, -1/+14You can bet that the Scientology gooks will be putting their people in with the peaceful protesters. Anonymous should have prepared some info on how to handle that. You know it's going to happen
- dkern, on 02/02/2008, -0/+5Absolutely- and don't think Anon is unaware of this ***** mole tactic. Anon is fully prepared.
- nepawoods, on 02/03/2008, -5/+1Innocent people will be singled out and hurt. They'll turn against each other. Scientologists will be nowhere in site. It will be hilarious to watch from a safe distance. Epic lulz. Epic fail.

- nepawoods, on 02/03/2008, -9/+1As far as digg goes, the anti-scientologist cult has done more damage, and annoyed more digg users, than the scientologists ever could. People are sick of this *****. Nobody believes you even know what you're fighting for or against. It's just a mindless pissing contest. Cults are for the weak-minded, for those with a void they need filled. That goes for the scientologists, and for the anonymous rebel wannabees - both equally cultish.
