C'mon, I bet even scientologists would admit that is clever. - theokase, on 02/11/2008, -12/+141Can't Stop the Signal.
- xxl3w, on 02/11/2008, -15/+130WoW servers must be down? What are all these people doing outside?
- str3ama, on 02/11/2008, -10/+97Great work on Anon's part, it's also good that protesters remained civil and didn't resort to violence, destruction and for the most part didn't return verbal slurs, etc. Keeping a cool head and just maintaining the protest is the way to intimidate them, the next one set for sometime in March - should involve more countries. I'd like to see more of Asia and South America participate.
Keep the videos coming as well..

- zgnoud, on 02/11/2008, -11/+66I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS
- inactive, on 02/11/2008, -3/+52It made the news, passersby honked, Scientologists cried and you clicked. I'm willing to bet that people care.
- Mr.Gone, on 02/11/2008, -18/+64Anyone else sick of the term "Epic Win"? I think we can do better.
- stonedthot, on 02/11/2008, -3/+48It's not about belief, its about making people aware that CoS is a cult, not a religion. Personally i'm an atheist, I would never picket a church, synagogue or mosque but would happily join in an anonymous protest if there was a presence in my city (glasgow). In my opinion religion has caused a lot of the worlds problems, but it does not brainwash people, tell them they have to break all contact with family and friends, and end up taking their money and even their house, to get nearer the 'truth'. It's like christianity demanding more and more money the more of the bible you want to read. Put simply, religion is a personal belief, true or otherwise, CoS is a money hungry corporation-cult that ruins people's lives.

I thought that was funny. - MindTrigger, on 02/11/2008, -1/+40Any protest that is organized on the internet, and transferred successfully into meat space (real life) is a success. Would you rather have people talk about standing up against evil on message boards, or actually doing it. I think ALL of these protests were a awesome success and drew a lot of media attention to the evils of Co$.
Also, get a sense of humor. The "epics" are an inside joke, to most of the internet. I don't think anyone actually sees these protest as some biblical scale mobilization of humans. - Yodzilla, on 02/11/2008, -11/+49This is a raid? It looks like 15 people mingling around waiting for something interesting to happen.

- crossower, on 02/11/2008, -7/+44We do what we must because we can.
- sHockz, on 02/11/2008, -10/+46This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

- OmniZero, on 02/11/2008, -1/+35For all the critics and cynics out there about this, here's why this is a good thing.
There is a group of people with a similar belief banding together to fight against something peacefully. The country was founded on the belief that people can do this. Instead of all these people sitting around as individuals b****ing about things, they banded together and are standing up to this.
Sure, other religions require money, but there seems to be a belief Scientology extorts it out of people, as in you HAVE to pay and don't have a choice. Mormons don't HAVE to pay anything, neither do other religions. They choose to. - inactive, on 02/11/2008, -17/+49Remember remember the tenth of Febember.
