Alex Jones' "Prison Planet" redesign look familiar?
prisonplanet.com — Congratulations on the new design, "Prison Planet"! Note the positioning of the logo and date, the green box in the top right, the grey borders around content, the serif typefaces, and the use of the exact shade of green (#B6E600) in the logo and blue (#0066CC) in article headings used on The (London) Times' website...

I could have sworn I gave a link to The Times rather than Prison Planet when submitting this story, but the submission failed and I had to resubmit, so I must have gotten it wrong the second time. Didn't mean to give "Prison Planet" any extra publicity!- jcm267, on 07/05/2008, -3/+10It kinda reminds me of programming class in high school when we took a break from C++ and delved into web design. The dumb kid in class thought that he was smart (really, he wasn't trying to be lazy) when he copied Yahoo's code and made "Brian's Yahoo!".

- jcm267, on 07/05/2008, -4/+15I thought it looked familiar when I first saw it, and immediately went to http://www.theonion.com to make sure it wasn't the same layout.
- inobla, on 07/05/2008, -2/+14Layout aside... I consider the Onion to be a more reliable news source.
- ssn697, on 07/05/2008, -1/+12you are on fire tonight, inobla!
- inobla, on 07/05/2008, -1/+10haha :) thanks

- ssn697, on 07/05/2008, -5/+13That is hilarious. Not an honest bone in their body, right down to stealing someone else's design.
You gotta love the copyright claim at the bottom of the page.
